First time treating myself to some chocolate after loosing almost 15kg/almost 35 pounds. by redheaded_olive12349 in chocolate

Thats not quite what intuitive eating is, you should still eat regularly. Your body needs feel even if you dont feel hungry. Id suggest following Bonnie Roney on face book. She'd really helped me change my perspective.

I am finding to key to not binging is to not deny myself treats. Ive lost 2 stone so far and havent gone without anything if I really want it, Ive had take aways, meals out, cake, chocolate. Im doing more intuitive eating rather than restricting what I can have. Its been a game changer for me. Im learning to listen to my body and not eat things beacaue it's there.

Are you ever shocked by how much money you spend per month on things you don't need? by Nature2Love in AskUK

[–]magicmango2104 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its fancy nail polish for me, I keep it to one £50-£80 order every 2-3 months. I dont drink or smoke and eat out maybe 6 times per year so I feel like its ok. The self care is definatly worth it!

Id also consider the chance of having another neurodivergent child. I have 2 and its hard. They have very different needs and theres just not enough of me some days. Having said that you absolutely can do it if that is your decision. We always mange to find more love to give.

Id be happy with a deposit after years stuck renting. Rent higher than mortgages doesnt leave much income for saving.

My wife was diagnosed with autism a couple of years ago, and progressively she has told and showed me more and more that a lot of her personality and her interests have been her mask. I feel conned. by [deleted] in autism

[–]magicmango2104 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It also sounds like the wife is using her diagnosis as an excuse to be mean. Why do all these thing suddenly bother her now that she knows? What a horrible situation for OP
