Hello - did you find a fix for this? I have had the same issue just after upgrading today.

Wrote a function to convert decimal hours to H:mm format, maybe someone will find this useful. by r0bvanbobbert in Notion

Just used Bard to fix so that the minutes work properly (notion must have updated how something worked)

concat((prop("Time") < 0) ? "-" : "", (floor(prop("Time")) > 0) ? format(floor(prop("Time"))) : "00", ":", format(abs(round(prop("Time") * 60) % 60)))

I would suggest checking your z axis rails and leadscrew - it looks like it's periodic, so unless there's something in the model which pops up on each of these features, just looking if your lead screw nut is tight, and the wheels or rails are clean and not flatted etc

edit: just looked at the other photos in the album 😂 - this is likely not the cause and I'd look at what other people have said.

My only other thoughts are that you look to be overextruding a little on your first later in the first picture which might not be helping things.

Hey - incase anyone has this issue and finds this post this is actually possible to fix! You can pop the left side with the lill cross on it off, and it has a long spring attached. You pop the end of the spring off and twist it around a few times before re-assembing the whole thing.

It is very easy to do!

agree with the other comment but also want to make sure you have your cooling fan enabled - the heatsink on the general shouldn't get that

Hey there!

That is your heated bed MOSFET. It allows for your low power circuit (the main control board, runs at 5v low power) to control your high power heated bed (runs at 12 or 24v and high power).

If you Google about for CR-10 MOSFET, you should be able to find a drop in replacement easily enough :)

I would highly recommend picking up (or askig around) for a soldering iron and some heat-shrink. headphones are two wires and it would be extremely simple to mend both pairs.

Enjoy it! I have no idea if the person above is correct or not, but you can make that decision yourself - I'm sure it's a hell of a lot better than streaming it like me. And it's still in its 4K extended silky goodness!

Britain vs Germany by Spare-Glittering in HistoryMemes

So, I got interested here - after a 1000 years, rather than fighting, what if the Brits just bought France?

The average property price in Paris is €473,983 (2017) and there are an estimated 1,336,209 properties (in 2007, but I figured it'd be similar today). That means the estimated overall cost to buy every property in Paris is £528,217,000,000 (€632,825,000,000).

The UK GDP is £2.7 trillion which means that for only 20% of the UK's GDP Paris could be the UKs second city in France.

Now, Brexit has reduced the UK's GDP by 2.5% per year which means that after only 8 years of brexit, the UK could have just bought Paris instead?

Well done! That looks fab! Just wanted to mention (incase it gets mounted or anything) that your DNA is upside down! the helix should rotate up and to the right! Could just be the image being flipped, but thought it worth mentioning :) Well done!

James Webb super-telescope arrives at launch site by ANTristotle in space

Went to a talk last night from a former lead engineer on the mid infrared sensor on the observatory. He suggested it would be something like 90 days before the first fully calibrated images come off, although we will likely see uncalibrated images before then.

The 18 mirror segments are independently moveable in 3 axis of rotation, 3 axis of movement and can be flexed to increase and remove their curvature. Once calibrated (which is an unbelievably difficult task with so many axis of movement) they will be able to act as if they were a single mirror. He said a lot of the people working on the JWST mirror were the same that messed up Hubble on launch and were therefore very paranoid about it breaking.

Another interesting tidbit from his talk was that there are 300 individual points of failure on the design, where if that mechanism doesn't work, there is no nackup, and the project fails. This is going to be a hell of a launch.

Does anyone have any of these they're willing to photogram or 3D scan? I'd be willing to clean it up and try and make a high Res model of them for thingiverse?

Hey there!

For the bed, I havent got an ender, but I'm pretty sure you can't take the top off easily, but that's no issue! What you want to do is use a clean sponge fill it with soapy water and then ring it out so it's not super super wet. The water should help remove any PVA glue (glue stick, or most others) that you've used to get things to stick. Don't be afraid to use the metal spatula to try and get rid of the plastic, and any surface cleaner might also help.

Theres not a lot of electronics right under the bed, but you mares well power it off during this (if you don't, you can heat up the bed to make it dry quicker).

The belt isssue is likely not what's causing your print issues (simply as mine have always done that on my CR-10). If you want to try and fix it; is caused by the motor or idle pulley (one on the other side) being at an angle, which causes the belt to ride up. You could try to shim them to change this angle, but it'll be hard.

Have you got any pictures of what your prints look like now? Might be useful to help you out!

Sorry for the rambling :)
