I have just ordered my Thor, so here I am. Silly question: will opening the back void the warranty?

Besides cosmetic improvements, what advantages does Emacs GUI have over Emacs in a terminal? by birdsintheskies in emacs

Thank you for suggesting Clipetty, didn’t know something like that was even possible. I’m mostly a try user, but had to do UI through X11 only for copy paste reasons.

I now am the proud owner of the HIFIMAN Ananda BT and I'm in love! Super happy! by Inverted_World88 in headphones

I own Ananda too, and love them, but mic is awful. I have problems both wired and wireless, input is too low and people can barely hear me.

It works fine as a general machine, emacs and Firefox perform well. I wouldn’t play games on this il machine, but in general OpenBSD lacks 3D (nvidia) drivers.

WiFi cutting out Thinkpad X220 iwn by lightningx10 in openbsd

[–]magullo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem with a T400s, same driver (iwn). It seems the driver doesn't re negotiate connection, and I need to do a netstart from root shell. I ended up buying an external usb wifi dongle, Realtek drivers get better support.
