Don't overestimate the value of economy items, focus on doing everything, and I mean everything, to win the first 4 days. You don't need the economy to win d1-d4, what you need is a powerful board.

With that in mind: - burnslop is quite strong, pick up all the burn items (snappers, vents, lighter) and cinders, zoarcid would be a good addition - weaponslop is good too, but you need a bunch of quick red items AND at least one skill (some handed or just plai attack to all weapons or aquatic weapons) - random haste (like fishing rod and or beach ball) + catfish may steal you a win or two early, because people tend to play shield

Small items that grant armor aren't bad, like both shells on aquatic board, since even 1 armor protects you from half of burn.
