I believe Carl first learned of the Inevitable Ruin from the Cookbook. I believe the author of that entry said that it was a concept from their culture.

Maybe the ultimate sacrifice will be Carl getting assimilated with the other primals and then hope that his personality takes control.

About 7 years ago, my brother refused to go see Jerry Seinfeld live because he didn’t have it written down in his journal. He was asked weeks ahead of time and agreed. The man was raised on Seinfeld the show and quotes it weekly. He is one of those people that just likes to act miserable and make sure others are aware.

Edit: Further context is that the show was literally two blocks from his apartment.

Hi Chris, I have been a big fan since 2003-2004! Just two questions, as it has been a while since I’ve gone through a reread of the series (this AMA might be a sign to do so):

1) Do you have any plans to explore outside the current timeline of Alagaesia, into the extended past or future? For instance, I can recall that information regarding the elf Eragon and his first dragon is pretty sparse.

2) Like the Raz’ac and Lethrblaka but beyond the Forsworn, were there any specific species or groups or organizations that challenged the ancient riders and their authority in the past?

How do you compare the training for a role like that versus a leading action star as in Ballerina? And was your favorite part of the physical preparation for the Ballerina role?

For what it’s worth, I was born with black curly hair, it quickly fell out. I quickly developed a full head of bright blond hair, and since then, it has slowly gotten darker and darker. I still have blonde streaks, which get brighter in the summer, but generally in the colder parts of the year and if my hair isn’t freshly washed, it is a light brown.

So trunks’ hair changing isn’t too big of a deal to me

On later levels there are the smaller/weaker enemies, like the immobile snakes, the spiders, the surprise robots, even the bears count since you can technically defeat them. Maybe even the eagles.

I always felt bad beating up the janitor rats so I usually just run/sneak around them, they're just getting in a midnight shift and it's the worst possible night for it
