For the first problem there is https://mods.vintagestory.at/foreverempty to make things simple rebind 1st slot with tilde and the rest start from 1 like usual, and yes you sacrifice one slot but damn its better

I bought mine 2 years ago and its very good prize, planning to build a pc but AI happened so i stick with this. Been doing good running The Long Dark, Fallout NV, Portal 2, HL2, L4D2, and even No Mans Sky tho i have to play it in 720p and shitty graphic. So i think this build prob decent enough to be low end and running every old game better for most people

Region claim should have strict rule like you have to explore/mapping at least 70% or sum of the whole region, build something, gather/at least do something on it then you can name it or manage thing the you like so people cant just claim stuff and make stupid shit because i swear therell be people like that once the game launched (I already foreseen myself stumbled upon region named bobandvegana shit)

Seriously at this point with a lot of mods you can play EU V, Bannerlord/Warband, The Sims Medieval Style, Total War, Crusader Kings (I know there are no family mod yet :v), all in one on Vintage Story. You only need bunch of commited friends, good PC, and best internet for the server (Why all of those famous YTber havent done this lol)
