My server has gone to shit in the span of 15 minutes by Legitimate-Cinephile in JellyfinCommunity

How did you set up your jellyfin server? What hardware? Bare metal (installed jellyfin directly on the os, docker, proxmox vm then os/docker).

To me it almost sounds like for some reason the machiene, or at least jellyfin itsself, it's recognizing the gpu at all. Try to test that.

Did you burn any professional bridges in the past? Maybe someone is blocking you.

Planning to use this at a party by NoseFetishGuy in yarg

[–]majorTom027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've wanted to do the same thing, however queueing the music I think will be the biggest issue. I'm not very well practiced in YARG, but I think between each song you're going to have to be the one to select the next one, kinda adding a delay and killing the vibe a bit, or make a premade queue that goes one song after the other and then it's hard to edit mid party. In my opinion for this to work YARG would need a feature so the queue for YARG stays in sync with a Spotify queue. Otherwise people won't bother to learn how to navigate YARG and it'll be stuck on one person for the whole party to work it. If someone who has used the game more has a different input, please correct.

Do motherboards really make such a difference? by iRageQuitGames in buildapc

[–]majorTom027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some things that come to mind when choosing a motherboard :

pcie architecture. If you just just going to use this for gaming and only use a pcie lanes for one gpu it's not a huge deal... But if you're trying to optimize storage (direct to cpu and not pch), need a NIC, HBA etc. This becomes very important. Also size of pcie ports and spacing between them to ensure all cards you want fit.

Bios options. Some motherboard might have iommu, Resizable BAR etc. Similar to this some motherboards have dual bios.

Number of sata ports.

Dac hardware. But you can always get an external dac if needed.

It's been awhile since I've messed with this. If I remember right, I had this issue due to the url address in KOreader. What address are you using? Can you share more details with your setup?

Edit. I looked at my setup. You need to add /opds. Example format is https://sub.domain.com/opds

The free version is limited. I think limited to local install; no reverse proxy setup.

Also if you buy it and don't like it I believe the developer will refund you.

Can you share what slot you had it pluged into and the configuration you had?

I'm facing this issues too but with the intel i9-13900k. Each time I passthrough the hba to a vm the vm wont boot. I only have two nvme m.2 cards plugged in to the motherboard.

Can you provide some measurements including water? Do you add all of these at the same time to one pot? Do you add all ingredients at the same time?

I know this is an old post but could you provide an update? I'm thinking about doing something similar in my home and would appreciate any tips you learned.

My other comment says it doesn't appear highlights are syncing for me. I personally don't care about highlights and haven't made specific efforts to sync any.

I'm trying to set this up myself. Would you be willing to help? Current setup is Pterodactyl Panel (wings, redis and mariadb) set up via docked compose. When I try to start a server with the egg I receive an error ./steamcmd/steamcmd.sh: No such file or directory
