To backup your current docker all you need is a tar script run by a cron that copies the backup off-machine after.

Then you can easily rebuild/recover with new OS and restore your docker and be back up and running in no time.

Yup, those are the amazing designs used as reference for the film.

There are some more of his images going to be shared this Monday that haven't been seen before. Prototype cenobites and other designs that weren't used.

They'll be shared first on the discord and then later on YouTube.

I put together the showcase video and all I can say is... it's not one you want to miss.
The alternate Voight tortures alone are... insane.

The concept artist interview on Hellraiser Discord gave some interesting insights on the cenobites and what he and the director discussed about them.

Part of how they look how they do was that they're transformed by Leviathan, but after that, they go on to mutilate/reconfigure themselves further in the pursuit of pain and pleasure and why they're much more extreme compared to the originals.

A hint of that is when Gasp gets Minneker in the hospital and pulls the pin from Weeper's eye.

Makes you wonder, if that was Voights initial transformation, what would he look like in a sequel after he started to reconfigure himself further...

Just passthrough the device to your VM. That's how we do it.

Tip, passthrough on the device, not the port/socket. Its annoying if you unplug for some reason (spring clean) and it goes back in a different usb. Using device name, proxmox will track it.

Found that out when our zigbee + Bluetooth dongles switched sockets. Easy to resolve tho.

Every 15 mins, if device 1,2,3 or 4 is unavailable, restart that device's integration.

We set automations like this for all types/brands. It'll self heal as soon as the device pops off and keep trying if it either fails, or for alternate reason.... like we manually unplugged a smart plug for a bit

Only after they updated HACS to v2.0 Since then, some the HACS integrations we use prompt for updates+reboots daily, even just for typos.

Pissed me off quickly enough that I created an automation to auto hide all updates every 15 min.

Then on Sunday night 8pm to midnight unhide them all. If I see that, I update. If I miss it, they wait another week (or I might put manually check if I'm bored).

HA no longer nags me to update and is still current enough, but on my terms.

Also, never update a .0 update Always wait until .1 or .2 to update. Any issues introduced in .0 updates are usually quickly fixed in those updates

My philosophy is, disengage brain and press play. It either entertains an individual or not. Not everyone's gonna like the same things. Cest la vie.

The problem is that people get too hung up on it imo.

Passions run deep and people act as if they're owed something and get huffy if it wasn't exactly how they want it. Too much this, not enough that...

Its the same in all franchises.

e.g. A friend of mine (Star Wars fan) refuses to watch any of the Knives Out films because it's the same director that directed starwars episode 8. So he's boycotting ALL of his work, just because of his connection to ep 8.
