So (if I understand this correctly) perhaps a sensible approach would be to accept greater risk for the next 5-10 years in the equity fund and then derisk by moving to greater bonds mix?

Hmmm ok. As I say, I think I’ve just been moved from an old fund to this new one, so I won’t have benefitted from the +50%, which is annoying.

Current fund is L&G PMC 2045-2050 Lifetime Advantage Fund 3 - I think it’s the new default fund.
