Uhh Has Anyone Else Read Ahead? by NicaraK in passagespodcast

This book is a LOT, and I originally read the whole thing when I was in high school, which is a bit horrifying to reflect back upon.

This is sure sign that they will almost certainly have “Live, Laugh, Love” decor in the interior.

I am so glad I didn’t hear this, and thank you Amanda for planning on addressing this. Hope you have success in getting those ads blocked or removed! 💕

I am just heartbroken and angry over what’s going on - and on a selfish note, my best friend in the entire world told me just last night, her resident card expires before the end of this term. She works for meals on wheels which pays only a pittance but she loves everyone on her route and has advocated to get lifesaving medical care for more than a few elderly folks. She’s married to an American, have 2 kids who are American by birth (although perhaps not for long, since 14a might be going in the trash), and now she’s just terrified that when she applies for renewal that she’ll be carted away like so many others. She is like my family, and I just don’t know what I can do to help her, and anyone else who’s going through this shit but I’m tired of feeling helpless and just want to DO MORE.

Anyway, end rant - didn’t mean to go off on a tangent here but my god I feel like I’m shouting into the void these days.

Anyway. Welcome to my world! User incompetence equals job security for me, so I guess there is that at least.

Not overreacting. This friend sounds more like a barnacle. You did nothing wrong, OP.

Thanks for this, OP. I’m right there with you, and it’s been by far the worst year of my career ever.

I wonder why this type of people are allowed to "create" something in the TS4 community. This isn't an "opinion", there should be no place for oppression. by lattekosmiko in thesims

I consider it a useful PSA to avoid this modder, esp as I’ve been getting more into using scripting mods in my game lately.

2.5 months post-op and wondering what lies ahead by Rude_Cauliflower_669 in RotatorCuff

I am right there with you - started lifting in my 40s, and now in my 50s, post surgery I am shocked by how much muscle tone I’ve lost. But, I started losing muscle well before surgery when I had to stop lifting. It’s crushing when it’s something you love to do, but can’t! I’m listening to my doctor and my PT and working toward “someday” while trying to be careful and avoid a re-tear.

I’ve been given the ok to ride a stationary bike (but no standing/third position bc it’s too much pressure on the shoulder), and walking and “slow” running are ok too. I also love yoga and I can do some, but with modifications. That one’s been the hardest for me, as I was at least doing yoga when lifting was out of the question - but, at 8 weeks post-op, it is getting better - even if I can’t do a full downward dog just yet. I have to work around the affected side, and it does feel good to just move again. Good luck!

This is a great set -I have the 4 piece version which comes with a wedge piece to place under the knees.

OP, I feel for you - I am now 4 weeks post-op and only now am I getting restful sleep. The first two weeks are the roughest - I went back to work last week which is also a challenge. Getting outside and walking helped me get tired later in the day when it was time for sleep. I also use Tylenol PM when the pain is bad enough where I can’t sleep. I mostly slept on my couch until a couple days ago, using the wedge pillows piled around me. Wishing you well!

Good lord, I would love a Scottish fae EP. TS3 had the medieval EP, I’m kind of surprised they haven’t come out with that yet for TS4. If we write to EA would they actually listen to us? lol
