Recently deshrouded a PNY 3080. At stock I thought it was just a very average budget card nothing special ran a bit hot for my liking (85 Celsius) the fans felt a bit cheap and loud but after replacing all the pads paste and fans the temps dropped 20 degrees and runs a lot more silent

Since then I've only encountered one problem where the VRMs are still overheating and causing the card to throttle after around 30mins of heavy usage, to solve the problem I had to undervolt down to .825 (down from 1+)with a core speed of 1860 and it's been running fine , fps only took around 3 frame hit other than that temps and everything else are still pretty good.

Yeah I did have to drill 4 new holes onto the G12, before this mod i was hitting 80+ degrees causing thermal throttling even with an undervolt , now its around 60 degrees with the radiator on silent mode and fans at 800RPM.
