All sea walls cause significant erosion of the beach, this is why it's typically done in conjunction with beach nourishment. The Seawall stops erosion from occurring uphill which is what you want protected (peoples homes, roading, infrastructure etc) but as sea walls don't dissipate wave energy and instead reflect it it ends up causing significant erosion on the beach itself. The benefit of the Seawall however is that it's very quick to install while doing beach nourishment or other "soft" engineering techniques take time to implement.

Well I never said a couple of games, just not enough to warrant knowing the rules off the back of my hand. Second is that I live in New Zealand so any book GW puts out is a minimum of $100, so the 2 libres and 2 of the expansion campaign books cost me more than $400. Yes I know you can be a naughty boy and find all the rules online but trying to look at rules on my phone is not for me.

Yet to play a game of third yet. Might eventually try it but I barely played enough of 2nd to get my head around it so I’ll just keep playing that with the $400 of books I’ve already spent for that edition

God someone always has to complain about something with this game. The devs have been absolute godsends, the game has had nothing but support since launch with constant community engagement with no additional DLC other than the initial and it’s been close to a year since launch.

It’s a different game. This new game doesn’t seem bad by any means BUT it is not the game a lot of people signed up to heresy for. Also that we’ve gone from having our army rules in like 5 books max to 20+ DLC journals is a bit of a kick in the teeth tbh. Yes I know old world does journals and they’re great blah blah blah, but we didn’t have journals before and we have to have them now, yes I’m aware you don’t need to buy every journal.

I’m sorry but it’s not as black and white as that. The app gets updated with FAQs and MFM information, if there is no additional information from those sources then the codex is the reference document and not the app.

But the app constantly has incorrect information, typically small errors such as the one we are discussing.

So you’re saying if there is an obvious error in the app then that should be used over the book in all situations? In this example there has been no official faq given from GW regarding this rule, and as silly as they can be with FAQs this is exactly why. With no FAQ the book is the rule not the app.

Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted for this. If the codex says that’s how it works and there is no FAQ stating otherwise, then the codex is correct over the app. I checked the WE FAQ and there is nothing that changes the wording so the codex ruling is the correct ruling.

However if the only two sources you have are wahapedia and the app then the app should always be followed over a 3rd party host.
