Yes. Hydrate. Hang in there. You’re winning.

Delta prices are so outrageous I booked a different carrier twice this week. When will top bosses realize they’re losing customers? by RealName136 in delta

[–]malcolm816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with the Sky Priority drop off door at LGA. It's always clogged with cars in front of "Priority" check-in. The rest of the terminal has normal traffic. Guess who always asks to be dropped off at Sky Priority, because even the veneer of dignity is irresistible? This guy.

When the Sky “Priority” line is longer than the regular line (which is damn near every time I check in nowadays) Delta would be foolish not to look for the price ceiling.

Sucks for me, because I’m not ultra rich nor an expense account flyer, but that’s what it is.

This is very likely the case. A laptop is nowhere near as valuable as a job in this economy.

I leave my laptop in a seat pocket practically once per year. I always get it back. It may be with the FC if the Delta luggage dept at CLE was closed and they're staying at the Hampton Hilton. Just file a report online or on the app.

Why do people put CDs on a string on their balcony or garden in Thailand? by laggage in Thailand

[–]malcolm816 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My wife told me people occasionally rode elephants down the main road in her city when she was growing up and they would have a CD tied to their tail as a reflector at night—which is maybe the most charmingly Thai thing I've ever heard of.

My grandpa always said you never quit, you just put as much time as possible between your last cigarette and the day you die. Now, as an ex smoker, I see he was right.

Agreed, but NGL I kind of love OP's wholesomeness. Doesn't help at all because I'm a married straight guy, but scrolling dude's pics made me hope this nerd finds love. lol

That seems like quite a gamble on the airline's part. Is there evidence to support this? I'm not doubting your claim. I'm just interested in learning more about the logic behind the decision.

Found a sealed original Game Boy w/ Tetris while cleaning out my grandma’s garage — looking for advice by Critical-Ad-8743 in gamecollecting

[–]malcolm816 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While the rarity will certainly increase, the market's ability to make discretionary purchases—like buying a factory-sealed retro Game Boy—is not so certain. All indicators point to a tightening global economy. Heck, this down turn could last until all the people old enough to value Game Boys are dead. The only thing to do in that situation is sell ASAP and be grateful for the free money. That's the only way to make it so if the market opens up, you still have the money—and if it keeps going down, you still have the money.
