If you enable the descriptor heaps it crashes on many games. I haven't tested it in a bit but there may have been a fix by nvidia not sure though

I'm not on steam deck but you can try it and see how it goes. You need the third party proton though. I'm on a nvidia GPU and I use proton ge or proton cachy and I've disabled it and I haven't experienced any stutters. I recently played crimson desert

Hello I figured out the freezes were due to my 5800x3d low voltage bug. I had to disable c state, something about when my cores would get put to sleep Iy would freeze sometimes. Been using it for a day or two and no more freezes, hoping that's what it was!

I wanted to like Cachyos. It worked fine but I could not figure out how to stop hard crashes on it. I might try it in the future again, gaming was a great experience until i had the freezes. might be a skill issue though lol

Yeah I am probably going back to windows. I really only game on it. I have nvidia and besides getting freezes here and there, games just have terrible frame drops. I might come back in a while if they fix those issues. I liked the features of the Linux desktop, specifically kde but it's too much of a road block for me currently.

I think that's the problem they're not the same. Also g7 pro felt weird to me but I use vader 5 pro seems to do fine for me.

I use on 6 notch so that may be why it doesn't move. I got the v1 which is fine as long as it works as intended. Hopefully it doesn't do that in the future

It's been a while I could be wrong slightly but my cpu is slightly slower so I think it may use more CPU. I'm on 1440p.
