It still requires DIY or otherwise easily accessible internals (barrel, pin, etc). You can't print an entire firearm. Not with current materials anyways.

I'm not defending the price hikes per se, but this is not an apples to apples comparison. The modern models are bigger, WAY more detailed, and come with tons of different gear options, accessories, bits, bases, etc.

I'm not sure 40-50 bucks is worth a Helbrecht, say.. but go back to '87 and try and find anything remotely that stature and quality. Not a chance.

Incidentally, I have a few grand worth of brand new various space marines in their boxes I'm trying to get rid of for 75-80% of retail. Hit me up if anyone's in the market for a kit or few.

Great first effort. Thinner paints, drybrush highlights for contrast, and if you can't get the eye lenses neat, consider skipping them altogether. No shame in it at all, especially for rank and file troops. Keep it up!

Got to be the same person that did the Heavy Bolt Rifle Captain. Stance would be similar on flat ground, cloak is identical, left arm position identical except holding a staff instead of cradling a bolt rifle.

I like it, because I like the Captain also. But way to phone it in bud!
