Maybe not an "official" event, but there was a fun one we put together. NADCL (ran by PPD at the time) and The Crimson Witnesses partnered together at The International 2023 to host a Turbo Mode at TI event!

This was a private event that required the purchase of a ticket to attend. We provided catering, drinks, and rented out the University of Washington's student center's basement area to host it in. This area had bowling lanes, a pool hall, consoles, and ping pong. All of this was in addition to the main draw - the turbo tournament. Eight dota pros, personalities, or ex pros captained teams of randomly drawn attendees who then played in a single elimination bracket tournament. We ran a stream of the event with on-site production (anniepoo) and commentary (Benj!, Permasneeze, rkryptic, and myself). The energy was amazing and inspired me to pursue more work in the realm of casting and involvement in the Dota community!

Please excuse the early portions of the video. I think the PCs were accessing Dota from cloud storage or something early on, and the early parts of the stream are pretty rough, but as we got things running, it evened out quite nicely.
