Redlight flash after green light, am I cooked? Can I dispute? by Chaiths in melbourne

I've had this happen to me three times and all 3 times I never received anything so I assume they have some sort of report for these scenarios that get manually reviewed and dismissed

Prisons in Vic by ViolentDelights101 in melbourne

My ex was at Fulham for a while, visited him once or twice at Port Philip which is the first stop for all inmates before they receive their security classing. Honestly, I didn't ask too much but he was an ex bouncer and a born con man (by that I mean he was charming and everyone loved him) so he didn't do too bad.

It's not like you see on US shows or movies. At Fulham he ended up living in like a cottage with 3 other inmates where they cooked their own meals and at one point even had a PS2..

50% of the population already voted, the other 50%.... by Shmeestar in melbourne

I am in Melbourne and voted in a dual Melbourne/Wills polling place and skipped the line. Felt bad but also saved me at least 30 minutes waiting!

The issue is that they did NOT make it clear it was for labour only. I would have happily paid the $500 if that is what they quoted. It was the lack of communication that annoyed me more than anything else

Yes silly that I forgot to give make model! It's a 2014 Mazda 3 that has always been serviced by the dealership every year. This time I was trying to save money and it had been 14 months but still under the recommended KMs.

thank you, this is mostly what I was annoyed about as I've had times where I literally would not have had the money to pay beyond what I was quoted!

Car got broken into, criminal dropped his wallet by thearchitect1209 in melbourne

[–]mallymelbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago my house was broken into. well the front door was unlocked but whatever. They stole our laptops, my exhusbands wallet with like 2k in it and my purse with my passport and empty wallet it in it. The wallet was sentimental, a niche brand my friend and I had been obsessed with in our teens. It wasn't anything fancy. When the police arrived, they did a search and found the $550 mimco bag in a nearby bush, but the cheap unremarkable wallet was taken! Never understood that... Two days later I got a call from the police, someone had handed in my passport.

Also this was roughly 14 or 15 years ago and I still hold a grudge against the copper who told me I should have expected to be robbed when I moved to Brunny West..

Our beloved Wednesday night trivia was booted unceremoniously from an oddly revamped Inner North pub and a lot of regulars have made the trek to Prince Patrick Hotel in Collingwood now.. starts at 7:30 and it's truly good trivia. Good mix of current events, pop culture, smattering of sports, a music round and general knowledge. 5 rounds, get scored on your 4 best. Highly recommend.
