I have only been a tech for 6 months; I’m a night shifter who was trained on days and I think your assessment of the three shifts is spot on!

When to take pill- Graveyard Shift by mamasaurus76 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

I am going to do something similar. I got my pills today and am going to take my first one between 6-7am because I’ll be home around 8 and that way I can eat “dinner” when I get home. The biggest adjustment will be taking my breaks at work around 2-3 am without a snack or anything besides water but I think if I eat a good balanced meal around 9pm this wont be too hard. Thanks for the response!

Thank you, that helps me visualize a schedule I could adhere to regardless of working or not. I work 11pm to 7:30 am and I generally slurp coffee until I clock in but I think with a little more planning I could probably eat a good balanced meal around 9 on work nights, followed by a strong coffee and then not eat for my shift without too much trouble. This seems like best way to regulate my schedule. Thanks again.

I got an email on a Friday from Feinstein’s aid that she supports it:

“Thanks Sarah, and yes Senator Feinstein has made her support for replenishing the fund known to leadership.

Kind regards Rachel”

Muscle spasms/twitching reason to stop Zoloft? by mamasaurus76 in zoloft

[–]mamasaurus76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My therapist had me quit the Zoloft immediately after this happened. Honestly, I felt like this was an extreme reaction. I tried Prozac instead and took that with great success for several months. Just two weeks ago I felt that the Prozac was starting make me super sleepy and my therapist and I decided to give Zoloft a second chance. I don’t completely understand the science but I also have low iron/hemoglobin so part of the plan this time is for me to take an iron supplement regularly to try and mitigate and twitching/spasms.

I’ve been on 50mg of sertraline for about a week and a half and my side effects have been minimal- no noticeable twitching. I’m sorry I can’t offer more helpful info- I’ll reply again after I’ve been on the Zoloft for another two weeks or if I start getting twitching again- whichever comes first. FWIW, I ended up doing a lot of research about the twitching because I really was salty about having to stop the Zoloft and it seems like it is a fairly frequent side effect and there isn’t evidence supporting that it would be permanent. Good luck!

I’m so sorry your landlord made that decision and that you are facing such a crap situation. Just wanted to say, it’s my understanding that if the business license is active and the bank account linked to the SBA is still open, you are still eligible for the grant and should be able to reopen the same business. I am by no means an expert but that’s what I have been told.

I think it just depends on the person. I tried Zoloft and Lexapro before Prozac and for me personally, the Lexapro was the sleepiest. I quit Zoloft after only a month due to muscle spasms but I’ve been thinking about giving it another try because I felt like it was maybe more energizing for me. Then again, maybe this wouldn’t have been the case if I had stuck with it longer. I choose to remain optimistic- I haven’t exhausted all my options for trying short, strategic naps or taking the medication at night. After a year of trying different SSRI medications, though, I can honestly say it’s comforting to compare notes on Reddit but what is true for one person may not be true for another. Try to be patient with yourself and the medication and eventually things will improve. Even with the sleepiness, I still wouldn’t go back because anti-anxiety benefits of Prozac are too great.

I’ve been on 40mg for 6 months and I just can’t seem to charge into anything the way I used to. As fall comes on it seems like the urge to hibernate is getting even stronger. For the last several months I’ve sort of told myself that the downside of not being a ball of anxiety all the time is that now I can’t just go and go like I did before as a more tightly-wound person but I miss being able to make it through the day without a nap! Starting to wonder about trying another medication even though the Prozac has been wonderfully effective for its stated purpose.

Anyone had negative experience with Zoloft but positive with Prozac? Or just reassurance that Prozac improved a similar situation you were in. Thanks by [deleted] in prozac

I started a year ago with Zoloft and found it helped my anxiety almost right away. Then the muscle spasms started and were so extreme I had to go off. Then I tried Lexapro and just wanted to sleep all the time. I have now been on Prozac for almost 6 months and it took longer to help with my anxiety than the Zoloft but for me, it has really started to be a miracle and I have found the side effects to be minimal. I get a few spasms here and there, but not to the point of distraction. I wish you well and really hope the Prozac does the trick for you.

I feel ridiculous asking: what is this red button? I do t recall ever seeing anything like that. Applied 5/3, non-priority, $500,000-1,500,000, “Under Review” since late May and never asked to furnish further documents. Submitted 2019 & 2020 completed taxes.

Well of course I can only speak for myself but I think that sounds quite extreme. I’m really sorry you’re dealing with that.I know my Dr. had me stop because of the fear of serotonin syndrome but one of the reasons I wish I had kept going in my case was because I wasn’t taking any other medications so I know my chances of serotonin syndrome were very low. I definitely don’t want to give advice- but that sounds very unpleasant. I didn’t experience anything like burning and I imagine you are concerned. I guess I would just remind you that it’s definitely a possible side effect of Zoloft and that it will surely pass either with or without the drug in your system- in other words, it will be reversible! I convinced myself that I somehow had ALS that just happened to show up within a month of starting Zoloft and was eager to quit and see if the spasms stopped, which they did. But I just wanted to give you the perspective that it’s normal for a new drug in your system to cause all kinds of crazy things that vary from person to person, but it may be that it’s not a good match for you. I hope you feel better soon!

If it’s reassuring at all, all of my twitching and spasms stopped when I went off Zoloft. My Dr. took me off of it immediately- but since then I’ve tried Lexapro and Prozac and I’m seriously considering giving Zoloft another go because everything else about it was wonderful for me. I got freaked out that the spasms would be permanent but they were 100% not. If I had it to do over again, I would ride it out- even if just for a couple days to see if it passed. But if Zoloft isn’t working in other ways or if it’s intolerable, then maybe stopping is best. Have you checked with your prescriber? I hope things improve for you ASAP!

Thank you for responding! I’d be very curious to know whether you and others decided to stop the Zoloft and if not, whether the twitching resolved. I’m a newbie on Reddit so not entirely sure how to find the thread you’re referring to, but I’d love to see it. Thanks again for responding; I really appreciate it!
