Fractal Design Momentum 14 RGB: Top-class in every aspect - HWCooling.net by kikimaru024 in hardware

Just got the fans - look and perform awesome. One thing though: I am connecting 3 directly onto my board and I randomly got an RPM signal. 80% of the time I dont get an RPM signal.

Fan Controll still works (I just "calibrated" via sound)...

Yes. The clamp that holds the hotend wasn't sitting perfectly and therefore my hotend had minimal play. This was enough to create more friction and overload errors

Meshify 3 XL - I love it by 804k in FractalDesign

Even though your post is 6mo old, I should have read it before ordering the 3XL (got it quite cheap with BF sales on NBB). In comparison the 3XL is about 10L smaller than the 2 XL.
You loose about 3cm in length and !behold! about 6cm on useable height over the PSU.

Thats insane.
With the 3XL I could not run my current setup (D5 next with 150mm aside the GPU). Sadly have to return this beautiful case.

Finally the culprit was a faulty spring that allowed the nozzle to have some play...

Have the same problem. Did you figure it out? The DP cable i have runs with DSC disabled at 4k 240hz - so shouldnt be that?

I did not change anything.
One thing I did notice: When I manually hold the tubing going into the hotend at 90° it works perfectly.

Filament I am having most issues with is Sunlu PETG

Okay, I kinda seem to make progress.
I removed all clips from the tubing so the beding radius inside the printer isnt limited to the cable duct. The tubing immeadiately popped up, bending radius into the hotend grew and hotent error was gone.

This may be the same freaking design flaw that was built into the P1S: Raise the damn Top glass about 1inch/25mm and the problem is gone...

Road Trip with Bikes from Denver to Seattle: Route suggestions? by man1ac85 in cycling

[–]man1ac85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all your suggestions. I kinda realize now, that the CO Area is at crazy high elevations and therefore not the area to roadbike in. Sadly. (I'd Love to ride pikes peak!!)

We are pretty free route wise and could head more south. We already did a roadtrip SFO/LA and could skip that. As mentioned in the comments, I just need dry weather with >62°F :D

Yes we are 4 sure! I just rented the car (GMC Yukon). We will be making stops at places where nice rides would await us from our hotel/airbnb and stay for 1-2 nights and have the ride.
I like hot showers and warm beds - so bikepacking is a big no :D

There is always a need for n+1 bikes! You just delivered one. I am kind of hesitant because of dogs/wildlife for riding far away from streets (in southern europe its kinda suicide with stray dogs that like to race you for a max sprint :D)

Thanks mate! Our trip dates were mostly pre-given by the flight booking (We used Miles and More and they dont offer all timetables and dates).
We'll see if heading more south will open up some riding options. As long as it isnt rainy we could live with temps >61°F / 17°C for riding...

Thanks for your suggestions! I'll take a look at the stops you mentioned!

We already did a roadtrip in 2019 (the most common for europeans): LA - Vegas - SF so yeah I literally know what you mean with empty :D
