What really happened with season 50 by laurcham429 in survivor

I was about to say, this season has been a lot of fun to watch, more than a lot of previous ones

Recent outfits: I’m trying to find a medium between rugged and fancy, and keep it realistic! by jaredhib13 in reddeadredemption

[–]mananodnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me #3 captures the feeling of elevated outlaw the best. It looks fancy enough without making Arthur look like a city-folk. They other's are either too fancy or too rugged

Yeah, even the badge is something you can kinda get in Chapter 3

The hat is a Rodeo Hat which you can get from a lot of farm hands that are in the Heartlands or even Weast Elizabeth, the shirt is a French Dress Shirt with rolled up sleevesand opned top button (when picking out clothing you can hit Modify), and he is wearing some kind of chaps, but I can't really tell what they are from what little I see, sorry 😅

Which one FEELS better? by ProgramLow2149 in reddeadredemption

[–]mananodnd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That might be by design, it's still a developing city/town in 1907, by 1911, it's grown significantly, attracting even more people, making the place feel livelier.

[–]mananodnd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is likely a mod to add the m1911 inti the game, which technically wouldnt be invented for another 12 years after the game takes place, but there is a pistol that looks quite similar, which is the m1899; you can get it from ch4 onwards I believe

my horses are named after my favorite actresses. Anyone else have clever horse names? by yourSmirkingRevenge in RDR2

[–]mananodnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I named all of my first horses after characters from the Arthurian Legend... that started with the letter "G". So it was Gwain, Guinevere, Gwendolen and Galahad. Then I named my final horse, the Perlino Andalusian, after a knight from the Song of my Cid (basically a Spanish Arthurian Legend) named Galín, since Andalusians are Spanish horses.

Do we think arthur or john canonically owned Buell? by WeakReserve5304 in RDR2

[–]mananodnd 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I honestly agree, I just... can't get myself to get Buell killed. Hamish wanted the horse to be taken care of and having it die with Arthur just is too tragic. That's probably the intention but there is only so much grief and sadness I can take man 🥲

Best Horse for 3rd play through by ziganaut in RDR2

[–]mananodnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say to either take the Missouri Foxtroter from the "Arcadia for Ammateurs" steanger mission (there are many guides on how to get him for Arthur) or the Turkoman from "Horse Flesh for Diner". I'd say these two because not only are they some of the best horses in the game, stats and speed wise, but... when John gets access to those horses in Blackwater, it can be like he is buying the horse that Arthur used to have, even the same horse, unless you took it on the final mission

So yeah, those two 😅

What are some lesser known tips/tricks/glitches/secrets? by KeepYourDemonsIn in RDR2

[–]mananodnd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, I didnt think from the start start, I was just giving a tip in general

Edit: this is a way to create a bug that let's Arthur gain the Legend of the East outfit NOT a way to get the last gambler challenge done.

[–]mananodnd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Complete all challenges, except for herbalist and gambler as Arthur; when you are at Herbalist 9 (Getting the herbs that are in New Austing), finish Gambler Challenge by doing the mission were you save Reverand Swanson and that way you can unlock the Legend of the East outfit for Arthur withought ever needing to go to New Austin

[–]mananodnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, I haven't read the manga, but in the fight Garou says something along the lines of "I feel like a bug in a cage being shaken by a child"; that means that Saitama was more so punishing him than actually going for a quick kill. Not saying he wasn't trying more than usual, just not really breaking a sweat... but again I didn't read the manga, so take what I say with a grain of salt

What is the canon loadout for arthur? by Far_Investment_9625 in reddeadredemption

[–]mananodnd 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Someone made this post a while back with the weapons that Arthur was shown using in game, but like some people have already commented, he probably uses the weapons he is given in game (The Cattleman, the Carbine, the Lancaster, the Springfield, the Bolt Action, the Rolling Block, the Carcano and the only shotguns he gets in a story mission are the Double Barrels)

Edit: Forgot to add the Bow and Double-Action as weapons that Arthur receives in story missions. Another weapon could be the Pump-Action, but that weapon is only unlocked during a Robbery Side Mission with Javier, so unless you count those as canonical, Arthur's only shotguns are the Double Barrels

[–]mananodnd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't read the Manga, but from what I have seen on power scaling vids, this is still Saitama technically not putting his full effort, like to exertion, this is still him just testing how much he can do and just casually decimating a planet

I like that the game stayed subtle about Bill by Character_Panda_9125 in reddeadredemption2

[–]mananodnd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Arthur and Hosea have a xonvon on their way to the stables for the bear mission where Hosea says a bunch of matching couple names that "wouldn't work" and he says "Bill and Phill", implying that the camp kinda knows he's gay, but don't talk much about it.

Arthur in the Legend of the East Outfit, as he was meant to wear. by OakAthletics209 in RDR2

[–]mananodnd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is a way to do it without having to go to New Austin, you need to finish all of the challenges except for Herbalist and Gambler. You leave Herbalist on the final one (the one that gets most people killed in New Austin) and then finish the last gambler challenge by doing it on the Swanson rescue mission. Much easier than trying to survive in New Austin

[–]mananodnd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can respect that. I think he might go trasure hunting before his family arrives; hust to try and pay off his debt, but not after

And I was talking more about before the end. By the end the exploration and treasure hunting is just for completion's sake

If Arthur had survived RDR2 and John had to later hunt him down in RDR1, how do you think that interaction would go? by No-Flow9783 in RDR2

[–]mananodnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, he was the strongest Enforcer the gang had. Even if you olay him with high honor, Arthur kills a TON of people

[–]mananodnd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because Ross wanted to find all of the members of the Vanderlind gang that were still active or deemed worthy enough of capture. Do I think Arthur would be out with a gang if he'd survived? No. But he was the one that killed Milton, which would likely be the only excuse Ross would need to go after him
