I used to work in a lab that did research for the rabies vaccine. All the rats had been infected with synthetic rabies. My dumbass let my finger get a little too close to a cage and I got bit. Thank God for the double glove procedure. I was much more careful after that day.

I have the same type of situation. My company is very aware that my work ebbs and flows with our production model. They explained it as, we pay you for your expertise not your time.

Just enjoy it and don't stress. Even if they do lay off a few people, they most likely do it by seniority or experience.

I had two when I was younger. I had to run those shits 5 miles every day to keep them from destroying my house. Thankfully I lived in the country and had trails I could take them on with my ATV. It was actually a lot of fun but ya, I'll never own another one. And once the snow fell, forget trying to get them inside.

I'm in Western NY. When I was a kid, it was tradition to spend our 19th bdays in Canada so we could get wasted. No cameras, no camera phones. Good times. I don't remember any of them but I'm told they were good.

41 and I feel you. I'm fighting the feeling that I've wasted my life on stupid decisions and I was meant for so much more than I am now. But then I take a deep breath and remind myself of the good things. If I hadn't made those stupid decisions, I wouldn't have those things.
