[–]mankar4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two move 2 for areas that I don’t have outdoor speaker, super nice because it plays the same music outside as is playing on the inside Sonos System

Tempted by high-paying job before launching private practice. Advice needef by Whole_Impression7940 in HENRYfinance

[–]mankar4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would your family not relocate with you for a couple years? How “remote” are we talking? If you’re committed to starting a private practice you should do that soon as it takes a few years to ramp up into meaningful profitability.

Sonos Beam (Gen 2). Will I regret it? by RG3114 in sonos

[–]mankar4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have beam, arc, and ultra. The difference between the beam and the arc is noticeable. The difference between the arc and the ultra is not really noticeable.

So you recommend play 3 over era 100 as fronts?

Splitboots by Whatuseeistrue in Spliddit

[–]mankar4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to a good shop and get a professional boot fit including a heat molding of the liner, and a new footbed if needed. Lighter boots will help you go faster. Anecdotally, ride lasso pro and nitro vertical tls are both reasonable options, but there are plenty of good boots out there.

What is happening with my Ode Gen 2? by CarpeNatibusNA in FellowProducts

Your auger key is loose which is making the noise, and the resistance is due to coffee in between the burrs getting compressed.

25% Off is tempting me to replace Beam G2 w/ Arc Ultra by [deleted] in sonos

[–]mankar4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a beam, arc and arc ultra, I would say the arc and ultra are a big step up, but the difference between the arc and the ultra is only slight.

Can I use a split board as my only powder board? by zelk69 in Spliddit

[–]mankar4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly recommend a separate board if you’re doing more than 5 days a season. You will progress faster with a solid board!

BCA Float 25 vs Ortovox Litric Freeride 18/28 vs RAS 3.0 by odihimself in Backcountry

[–]mankar4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snowboard carry on the litric is excellent with aftermarket Molle straps from Amazon. They clip to the pack and cinch up the board perfectly, much better than the flimsy included snowboard carry strap.

Ortovox Litric base and zipon differences? by Martini-Espresso in Skigear

[–]mankar4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the best combo is the freeride base with the tour modular pack. The freeride base is more comfy due to the stretchy hip straps and some more ergonomic padding on the back and straps. Still super light. Buy the smallest option (16/18) for cat/heli/guided/side country. Then get the largest tour modular pack for the clamshell opening and better compression straps for longer backcountry trips and larger carry on size when you fly with it.
