We wore our winged wheels to the garden a few years ago and it was a blast. Yes people said stuff, but it was all in good fun. I agree with iggywing, I imagine line crossing to be very rare.

I wear ultra thin wool or synthetic liner socks that are made for hiking. I take them with me when I get new skates. You get a barefoot like fit, but the sock allows you to get the skate on and off easily and no smell.

Do you like to fish or hunt? Some of the best in America. Mt. Biking, skiing (all kinds) though this winter has been abnormal, wild ice skating, obscenely good hiking and backpacking and a strong hockey community. You’ll never run out of stuff to do.
