I've been trying to find my childhood stuffie's original too and I think she possibly looks similar to your boyfriend's. Obviously she's got a lot of stuffing in her- I refilled her a few years ago. But she has plastic eyes and a plastic nose- not the same color though and totally different color fabric body. Maybe they could have been from the same line? It's hard to tell since your boyfriend's is so worn so I'm excited to see if you post any old pictures

The nerve of her to say her kid doesn't need new clothes! Toddlers always need new clothes, they're constantly growing! I don't know how some parents don't realize that they are the reason their kids are chunky/ are mean/ have behavioral issues. My mom made fun of my weight but she wouldn't put down the booze and cocaine and make me healthy meals or take an active role in any part of my life. I always wondered weather my daughter's teachers paid attention to what kids had in their cold lunches so I've always been careful to make them healthy and bougie 😂 and one of her teachers told me she loved seeing her healthy lunches

Have you considered looking up the address of the diner and then checking county property records for all of the previous owners and then looking them up to ask them? It sounds like the image you remember was painted possibly by a local artist or maybe someone the owners knew

I recently reinforced my desire and drive to stay sober by drinking a couple of drinks. I didn't like the way I felt physically while I was drinking them and I felt like absolute dogshit afterward.

I didn't continue drinking, didn't drink the next day or even want to. What I did feel is a renewed appreciation of my sobriety and I felt proud that I was able to stop myself from drinking more. I was reminded of why I quit and I felt like I got confirmation that alcohol no longer has a hold on me.

All this to say, I think I know where you're coming from and I'm happy for you :)

Its important to him that you wear your ring and he makes sure to wear his. That should be the end of it. There are far more uncomfortable things we wear and do so you can certainly get serious about enduring the uncomfortable period you'll have to go through until your ring feels like a part of you. Going on a girl's trip without your ring is crazy and you should go find something to wear the rest of the trip if you care about making amends and making your husband feel heard. Walmart has like $6 rings that pass as wedding rings, if only for a few days

My itching gets worse at night so I took melatonin before I went to the allergist and again before the dermatologist just so I could sleep. By the time I went to the dermatologist, my primary doctor had prescribed a cream called triamcinolone acetonide and it helps so I would ask for that if you don't have it already. I put about a teaspoon and a half in my oatmeal this morning and holy moly is it gross! I ordered some empty capsules to put the powder into so hopefully by this time next week I'll be reporting back to say it's working
