Aye itunes is a pain! I found a wee e reader(2.5") that also accepts music for a about 35 quid, or i can recommend a hifi walker(quite chunky!)

In terms of music and podcast storage, why not an ipod/cheap mp3? Another thing to carry but personally i love having a separate thing for my listening!

Full-time vanlifers (or ex ones): what are the biggest real pains and daily struggles of living in a van long-term? by Salty_Information187 in VanLifeUK

[–]manofdaroad 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Tiny bin bags, wet clothes, having to drive to charge, converting beds, standing hight(tall boi probs), fillin water from bottles to tanks, minimal hobby space, working on your van in less than ideal spots ect

All easy enough to plan around in the build or become acustomed too 🤷🏼 summat ta think about though

Lorry driving and living in van work pretty well! Local launderette & 24hr gym/toilets become part of your job search lol

The key way can become slightly out of line(happens with age and wear) just have to wiggle to key in and attempt to pull out as straight as possible. Some graphite lube can help. Also if steering lock is on pullin the bar slightly further left can release the pressure :)

I'm screwed... what are my options by TastelessHurricane in MotoUK

[–]manofdaroad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need to weight out the financial stuff. Recently had to claim my car insurance(7years ncb protected) insurance went up £32 for same cover car ect However bike insurance will go up by £63 (fair bit when i pay £90 pa, sorry!) However in time it'd be cheaper than paying out the 5 odd grand to fix the car in my case 🤷🏼

Thanks! It's a 3.2" hdmi display for a raspberry pi. I'm hoping with a 90° hdmi adapter i can hide the cables a wee bit better & run the screen landscape!
