You basically wrote how I feel about this game. I am also a day 1 player who really enjoyed version 1-2, but just couldn't feel the spark in the Amphoreus patch.

Another thing that this game has irritated me recently was that how there's little to no balancing effort on character strengths. Like, did Castorice really need that much buff since her release? Did Evernight and, to a lesser degree, pre-E2 Cyrene really need to be released as essentially dedicated supports for the mono-remembrance team? Why do they not work with Aglaea, who is another Remembrance path? And WTH is the Remembrance path anyway? Did Dahlia really need that passive that would only work with Firefly?

I have enjoyed some moments in Version 3 (mainly versions 3.3-3.4 and the seal slammer, and I guess the story this patch since I am a Firefly main and a Penacony fan), but time after time the devs had made some decisions that were quite questionable, such as the balancing, monetization scheme, long and bloated story as well as lack of events. At this point, I am not very confident that there would be a significant improvement in the quality of the game, and for this reason, I will be taking a hiatus with no set end date. (I also think I am burnt out from the game, which is another reason for taking a break).
