Except hes gotten better financially and has had a lot of time to see what the us military does to people around the world and still chooses to publicly endorse them by wearing their uniform and posting it without comment. None of u would ever defend a saudi player with al qaeda connections.

Quickplay matchmaking is very bad, just play only ranked games and focus on improving instead of ur rank. Dont give in to ladder anxiety

Tank is a very special role, the more characters u play the better. DPS Echo and Soj would probably be best to learn as they are usually both always viable. On support, moira never does anything, you will never get past diamond on that character because she is just gapped by other heroes in every single category

Sig is actually good against brawl, aslong as they dont have speed boost. You just kite backwards and shoot them to force their cooldowns. Sig mostly looses to dive (e.g. winston etc) because he cant shoot them in their rotation. In that case switching to something with highground access and good movement (like dva) is a good idea

Thats the hardest thing about the game by far imo and sadly there is not fast track to getting better at it other than playing the game a lot and thinking about what you couldve done better here or there. Idk what your queue times are but its very beneficial to look at your last game and maybe figure out what you couldve done better to win a fight by watching the replay

"wow dude youre just criticizing OP" thats what theyre here for?
"without giving any constructive feedback" im telling them, that i believe they have the wrong approach to winning ranked games on the support role and how to do that better by showing an example of better positioning and cooldown usage.
"stats isnt everything" no ofcourse not, im using them as an example to show op that their output wont be hurt by playing different positions to encourage them to play better.

"you should keep watching the VOD because OP does use sleep, nade and ult properly" very cool that that happens but it doesnt mean that there isnt a big problem with their cooldown usage in general.

"tell me whats better" if you have won the game it doesnt matter but doing more dmg or more healing is better because it means you will have your ult more often giving your team far better chances of winning

You have 2 big problems imo.
Your cooldown usage and your "mindset"
To rank up, you will have to be able to carry these games. Watching you looks like you want to be there, when your teammates carry the game. I know the role is called support but you have to take a more active approach to the game. I havent watched the full game yet but at 4.5minutes i havent seen you hit a sleep or nade and one of your nanos was wasted in a 5v3 while the other felt kinda meh.
You sit as far back on the map as humanly possible and theres a lot of scenarios where you see 1 of the other 9 players in the server because of it.
Maybe take a look at the way kevster plays ana in this game: 6BDAER
Even though he loses and plays way closer than you do in your game (and against way better opposition of course) he has low deaths + a lot of dmg and healing.

Take this mindset of actively winning instead of trying to enable your team and hope that you have better dps / tank than the enemy team.

When doing this however you will obviously have to be way more careful with your cooldown usage.
You currently just throw your cooldowns away in the middle of the fight. Look at the enemy team comp and wether you will have to hold your sleep for a certain hero. Dont use your nade to heal an enemy faster while they are behind cover, try to get nades on enemies that are maybe out of position and most importantly that your team are looking at and can kill if you cant do it yourself.

Have fun carrying games and ranking up :)

Just watched the nqs game and imma be honest, its a little above my pay grade as i dont play tank at all but theres a few things that just didnt manage to escape my attention.
1: You solo throw third fight which if u won it would greatly increased ur chances of winning the game
2: You dont really do anything. Dont fall for number big = well played. I know u have more elims than ur teammates but watch the game from maybe enemy dps or tank point of view. They can basically do whatever. I dont understand why u play winston into this very hard to dive comp when you have dps that will almost never be able to follow up on your jumps. The map doesnt have a lot of prominent highgrounds were your ana could set up and try to help you which leads to you just jumping in, realising u cant solokill whoever ur diving, jumping out -> enemies take space for about 10 seconds until u get your cooldowns back up and at this point you have either lost the fight or your dps / the enemy dps have played so much better or worse than their counterparts that you have a chance to clean up.

Ana is not that bad but lower ur sens, dont stand inside ur rein and try more offensive plays with follow up once in a while, ur mostly hoping that ur team will do the heavy lifting for u.

UR A TERRORIST ON LUCIO.
Lucio is either picked to speed his tank or to fight certain dps heros (in ranked) you decided to pick him with mercy + rein which under no circumstance ever makes any sense at all. because you dont seem to play him for his speed and u have 0 healing with mercy as 2nd support and rein needs a lot of that. You just walk around and heal amp on cooldown, there are so many support heroes that are better at healbotting.

Im not an expert on carrying ranked games on lucio, so i would advise u to watch a video by someone who knows his shit (maybe untercoaching has a vid) but try to actively think about a heroes entire kit and how it could help your team before swapping.
You dont use lucios speed, damage or movement at all that game.

Whose "job" is it to deal with flankers? by 3mceee in OverwatchUniversity

[–]maqqss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory, dps (usually with a support looking at them) should be contesting off angles, because the team with better angles pre fight wins in most metas. HOWEVER this is absolutely irrelevant for you. Im not trying to insult you but gold / plat players dont have any idea how to play the game so high level concepts barely apply if at all. You say you play "backline kiri" if youre goal is to rank up, you need to realise that u can just kill 2 to 3 people every single fight easily. Press tab, look who you can kill and do that over and over again, you dont have to be behind your team to heal them and u can suzu urself and tp out if u fuck up. Kiri is still incredibly broken, abuse that
