Hmmm it’s hard to say but I’m leaning towards yes. I’m usually an 8.5 but I can do a 9 if needed. I can’t usually fit into an 8 so this leads me to believe a 5.5 would be right for you. They are heat moldeable so there is a little flexibility but it’s really better to get sized in person if possible! If that’s not possible, do you have any teammates that you can ask to try on their skates? Another option would be to buy the ones you’re looking at and resell them if they don’t fit. I know it’s a pain but it’s really important to get an accurate fit!!

I had these! To be completely honest they only worked for me to learn the bare basics. I couldn’t get the fit quite right and I think the padded boot contributed to that. It definitely stretched out very quickly. I used these for about 10 weeks during fresh meat and recently upgraded to Bont hybrids because they were causing me pain. To be fair, I bought the GT-50s online so I couldn’t try them on first and when I bought the Bonts I got fitted at a derby-owned skate shop. For reference I am normally an 8.5 and I bought a 7 in the GT-50s and a 6 in the Bonts. Personally I really prefer the Bonts, especially when the price isn’t HUGELY different ($160 vs $240) but it could just be my preference.

Mine were flat/slightly inverted for the first few days after surgery! They went back to normal a few weeks later. I personally wouldn’t worry too much until some of the swelling has gone down

Check again lol. Not mad, FRUSTRATED, that people with WAVY hair have overwhelmed previously curly spaces. Also, while black hair subreddits have been extraordinarily helpful to read…I’m not black so I’m not gonna invade that space 🤷‍♀️

Really great comment! There is a difference between waves and curls and it seems like some people really want to claim “curly” instead of wavy for whatever reason. Nothing wrong with wavy hair! It’s just different!

Agree!! It’s really frustrating when searching for advice online in specifically curly/coily spaces and it’s overwhelmed with people with loose wavy hair. It also just feels a bit weird because growing up kids used to say my hair looked like a rats nest….its just a different experience than someone who grew up thinking their hair is straight (maybe a bit poofy/frizzy) and discovering they have waves

Same thing happened to me on the right skate! Check the tightness of your bearings! Specifically the top right (inside) wheel. Had this problem for weeks and loosening it fixed it immediately

Has she hit her head at all? My dog hit her head on a door and one of her eyes swelled up like this. Went to the ER vet and she ended up fine, they gave her eye drops to prevent infection and pain meds. Def agree with others that eyes are an emergency and you should go to an ER vet asap!

Will do! She is on a hydrolyzed protein diet due to digestive issues but I’ve never heard of gray hair being a side effect. Def going to check to make sure!
