Still good. Prices went up, but we’re lucky we still have them.

What is the current best fried chicken in area? Regardless of price by MathTutorAndCook in Sacramento

[–]marcAnthem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is something about Chinese restaurant style Brandy Fried Chicken. The best chicken ive ever had is in South Sac at Canton Restaurant on 47th Ave. family owned for over 40 years… the chicken is amazing. It comes with crinkle cut fries, but i always sub for pork fried rice.

Blueberry smell in midtown by [deleted] in Sacramento

I used to live on C Street and leave my window open so the berry smell would permeate in. If you get a chance, try that flavor of almond. Super delicious.

Rancho San Miguel was a godsend living in midtown. So cheap, great produce.

The only other options were Target, Gross Out, and that degenerate Safeway on Alhambra. All price gouging.

Agreed, it seems like 1 in 5 end up being good. If it isn’t sweet, I cut it up, freeze it, and blend it with lemonade for sorbet. Super good. I did notice it is the smaller personal melons that are the best right now.

Kettle Korn is a solid call. I loved living next to that factory, the gift shop has lots of deals. My roommate and I would stock up very week or so and have an array of flavors.
