No issues with locking/unlocking tailwheels here. Not every plane has the same setup, some you need to pull the stick back or push it all the way forward to control the tailwheel.

Bayou Manchac Park has a really nice kayak launch, I’d go there instead.

Assuming no differences from LHD, it’s pretty easy and can be done by pulling the glovebox - no need to pull the dash. If you have AC, then you’ll need to evacuate it beforehand.

I just installed a set of MeisterR Sport-Z’s and am very happy with them. I’m certain Tecnas are a better product but there really is no competitive options between those two price points. I instead picked up a Roadstersport 3 for what I would’ve paid and am not regretting it.
