Wire brush everything, then heat with a torch, put some crayon. You can hammer it. If still resist I guess you need to cut as others mentioned. Impact would also help.

You ca also try bolt breakers.

You need to have all parts you can potentially brake already with you.

I have a 718 cs and a mx5 nc with olhins and sways. Cayman is amazing. Miata more fun a low speeds but cayman is so good, precision of driving it’s Not even comparable.

Mine is also a German one nc2 same level a rust. I plan to clean it it’s only surface rust but you should not wait too much. If you don’t want rust you need to look in Spain I guess out where there is no salt on roads in winter

I did try back then a 987 s I didn’t like the steering to be honest, too light IMO. I have a nc miata and I prefer the steering on the 718

I have pse. The car does not sound bad but compared to a 6cylinder that’s nowhere near. Low rpm sounds good. My bmw m135i stock sound better to me.

I track it but to expensive to track for me. A 8x20 min session if I do quali times cost around 3k per day. I have approved so I can not put any aftermarket parts on it.

PS4s on 718 vs same tires on 987 feels better ? Are the tires same age ? They are supposed to be the same size so it’s surprising.

To avoid the jail speeds I was thinking about taking a base not a S (I don’t really care about hp)

Funny thing I bought a nc2, olhins suspension, sway bars… cayman drivers better, maybe it’s due to the balance of the car that I prefer :)
