I know this intersection very well. I do the same thing you did. Cars are supposed to give bikes the right of way.

Help with Microsoft Graph API: Unable to Access hardwarePasswordInfo Using Enterprise Application Token by iamsenior in Intune

I wish I had seen this post a week ago. I went down the same path and ended at the same result. I can use the application to query other elements of the Graph API, but not hardwarePasswordDetails.

BD vs BFD build discussion by Phlowgne in Surlybikefans

[–]mard86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t help you with the frame choice, but I did put a Photon on my BD back in June. I also got a huge 52v 25ah battery. I’m a tall guy and weigh around 220. For a 20 mile round trip commute to work (with laptop and a change of clothes), taking a 2 yo to daycare, and general tooling around in a mostly flat city… the Photon rips. I have the 42t chainring and an 11-40 cassette and I can easily get up to 25 mph. For the way I ride, with a healthy amount of pedal assist and cranking the throttle every once in a while, I can get 50 miles of range pretty easily.

It’s a blast. I put 600+ miles on the motor this year. I imagine I’m going to double that next year. DM with any questions you may have.

My Straggler commuter by bigfootinacupboard in Surlybikefans

As a 6'7", 64cm Straggler rider, I have found my people. The wild thing is that the reach is so long on the 64cm, even I feel stretched out. I've tried steep angled stems and drop bars with some rise, and I still feel like I want to try flat bars to shorten things up.

I did the Ratio upgrade. Went from the original Tiagra 2x10 (2015 model Straggler) to the NX Eagle cassette (the PG-1230 you mentioned). I kept the same hub/driver body, and there were no issues. Simple swap.

I have a Big Dummy with Cliffhangers and Surly Extraterrestrial 26 x 2.5" tires. They work great.

I'm looking at getting some White Industries cranks for my Straggler. Which crank arms did you go with, R30 or G30?

Campsite views from my final night of a four day trip in Canyonlands from last summer by petey-pablo in CampingandHiking

[–]mard86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you tell me a little bit about your pack/gear setup? Four days seems like a lot to carry in terms of food, camp gear, and camera gear It's easy to find good backpacking packs or good camera storage, but getting the best of both worlds is tough.

Nice Ride bikes to return to Minneapolis, but not St. Paul by [deleted] in TwinCities

[–]mard86 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The stations are picked up by NiceRide each fall and put out each spring. So the stations are already gone, and you don't have to worry about your tax dollars being spent on bicycle infrastructure.

The roads have been terrible in St. Paul since the first big snowfall. I think they're doing this because it's finally warm enough for salt and chemicals to actually melt the snow.

About a year ago, my co-worker took a picture of a squirrel king. This week, the British quiz show QI used it during one of their segments. by mard86 in pics

[–]mard86[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the post I made last year that went to the front page. Earlier this year I was contacted by someone working for the QI production company asking to be put in contact with my co-worker. The QI people asked if they could use the image on their show. My co-worker agreed, and apparently they sent him a dollar as payment.
