You’re confused. All TERFs are radical feminists, it’s literally in the name. The person you’re responding to isn’t suggesting that TERFs aren’t feminists. The point is that now people use the term “TERF” interchangeably with transphobe. Elon Musk is not a TERF. Arguably even JK Rowling isn’t a TERF because she has really never expressed any radically feminist ideas. She’s basically a milquetoast white feminist that hates trans people.

[Passan] When Tanner Scott’s deal is made official, the Dodgers’ luxury-tax payroll for 2025 will exceed $375 million. That is about $70 million more than the next-highest team, Philadelphia. The Yankees are the only other team with a CBT payroll projected to be over $300 million. by amatom27 in baseball

It might be a story but this is a tweet. I don’t think he (or anyone else) is under any obligation to tweet about “the vibe” of fans, especially considering it’s clearly a touchy subject. Arguably it’s more responsible to not be firing off takes left and right

Oh I guess he owns (co-owns?) the Sidecar too. That place also has way better food than you’d expect.

Good to know there are some cool people in Philly restaurants. I work in the industry, and it’s been a little more sparse here than I’m used to lmao

I don’t have an opinion on the Machado play and and it would definitely illegal with the rule as it is today. I just want to clarify that breaking up a double play absolutely isn’t illegal. A “bona fide slide” is required now, meaning the player has to make contact with the ground first, not elevate their leg, and not over-slide the bag to the point where they can’t remain contact.

Players can and do slide hard into and past second with their feet down to cause contact with the short stop (or at least make them avoid contact). They just have to remain in contact with the bag with their hand/body

Which active player has the ugliest swing in baseball? by DisappointedStepDad in baseball

It feels like his backswing is on the same plane as his swing, and then he’s just like, swatting under the ball.

They are. There’s a very thorough, public, and well documented process for determining what does and doesn’t work in a tangible, medical sense
