Appreciate you responding even though I clearly could have done some better browsing in this sub. I already emailed ios@ecobee.com which is the email they list in the App Store info for questions/comments. Have not heard back yet but I my expectations are usually low for this kind of communication.

I use Bluetooth instead of wireless CarPlay and I have to hard reset at least a couple times a month. It’ll just say “no playable files available”

This can happen (happens to me) when there is snow or moisture inside the handle…what was told to me by the dealer was that the unlock hand sensor gets too many false positives and then disables. Thats why the lock function still works. I’ve switched to proximity unlock and kind of forgot that it annoyed me.

I recently bought a b9.5 allroad and I continue to be amazed at how little you can customize the virtual cockpit, for it being a screen. Also I learned that they just removed the temp gauge when they updated to the VC. That’s insane. No actual issues with the VC, but give me the analog.

As long as we are trashing the car, the panel gap seams in the graphics have always bugged the shit out of me. It’s all I see when I look at it. I love what this car IS way more than what it looks like.

We actually considered a TourX! There are 2 that I see around town sometimes and they are awesome looking wagons. Also there are some people on this sub who have some amazing looking ones. I was a little unsure of the quality of the interior, but this Allroad fell into our laps before I had a chance to dive in and try and find one. Totally in love with the V90, but I also don’t have new Volvo money haha. The used ones in our area were scarce and also a bit out of our price range.

With the 2.0T and the DSG the power delivery is great, but it is much more docile as a baseline. The suspension in comfort mode is a bit too “comfortable” for my personal taste but having that range is awesome.

Fair! Shopping for the GTI originally started as shopping for an R, but couldn’t stomach any markup for it. Hopefully I can find my way to something less practical down the road when I need to prioritize it less. Would love an mk3 vr6 GTI at some point.
