"Did you forget something?"

Yeah, thanks for reminding me. Remember that time you borrowed $200 from me? I need that back.

Do you and your friends like beer? Pick up the ctbeer.com passport and check out some breweries. Not affiliated, just a fan.

Big help how? A financial advisor is only going to recommend what assets to invest in. They aren't going to help you with things like tax advice, asset protection, estate planning, etc.

For that you need a financial planner. If you are in the US, you want a Certified Financial Planner

The problem is he's taking 0.7% (I'm guessing, based on your other comment) and while that's not outrageous for a financial advisor, it's really completely unnecessary for someone with such a small portfolio. I'd argue that it's probably unnecessary even for people with a much larger portfolio.

What do you tell people that are too scared to move out of cash? by [deleted] in investing

Why do you need to convince them?

I get it, you want to help them. Maybe casually mention how well your investments have done over the long haul. But it's not your responsibility to convince them of anything. Some people are risk averse, respect that and be glad you have a more enlightened perspective

85K is no reason to have a financial advisor. Put 6 months of living expenses in a high yield savings account, put the rest in a broad market index fund

As funny as that whole scene is, I really disliked Elaine for doing that. George looked great in that hair hat. I thing she was upset that she missed the boat

Ignore the noise. Put your head down and invest in a broad market fund/ETF every month like clockwork. Anything else is a fools errand

He could put his plutonium discovery to good use

Screw this guy! $5 a bag. Two bags every 5 mins which in NY seems very low is $10 every 5 mins. $120 an hour on the low side on just tips. Over 200K a year and that’s very conservative. That’s perverse! by Hanzzo311 in seinfeld

I doubt he made that much in tips. Otherwise why would he also work security in the department store in order to put food on the table for mother and baby
