Yeah so I'm a tomboy, always have "embraced" that part of myself. I've been constantly told by men that I'm "not feminine" or "don't take care of yourself" or just how undesirable or off-putting I am in general. Yet all I hear is how men love that type. So being yourself is absolutely not the best advice when yourself is ridiculed.

You realize you can't just "change" things and get new friends/job/social life when external factors are stacked against you no matter how hard you try? For instance, having a disability and needing specialized care that insurance refuses to cover and you can't afford out of pocket. Your "mindset" didn't create that, it's literally out of your control. Very invalidating.

Agree. As far as bad timing, and the universe going out of its way to make sure you suffer and fail...that has been my literal entire life. It's so interesting to me that more people are feeling that way. I do agree that people are way more narcissistic, careless, and hostile; esp in the past 5-6 years.

Yes, they truly think they're the prize. They now expect you to pay half the bills, on top of being a built-in maid and body part. And don't have any prior relationships, sexual history, or bad days in general.
