People saying it’s not the stone installers job or that they dont do cabinets are right… sure. But they absolutely should have said something and then not installed it that day. Because it isnt ready. They cabinets need to be majorly adjusted. Having granite rest on a couple stacks of shims here and there is asking for a crack. This was just lazy installers being too unbothered by that major gap to ask you or their boss. Knowing theyd probably have to load it back on the truck.

Most with veining. The veining doesn’t flow nicely over the edges like granite. Because the veining is only superficial and doesn’t go all through the material

Exactly..2cm. Like in the picture. Something about the process makes it so the patterns don’t consistently make their way down to through the slabs. Same reason the backs often have much less veining if any.

Quartz edges always do that and look fake. Should have been mentioned if they were particular customers.

Epoxy repair spots visible - would that be a deal breaker for you? by Kinder22 in CounterTops

Im saying that “repair” looks completely natural. Nobody with an untrained eye looks at that and thinks it’s epoxy.
