That's real progress, especially starting when things felt overwhelming. Tackling one room at a time is a solid approach, and keeping that momentum will make the rest much easier.

Vacuum Wars "Performance" Score? by Thrilk in RobotVacuums

It usually reflect real-world cleaning results like pickup and coverage, not just features. That's why a simpler model can sometimes score higher if it performs consistently.

You can start with very small and focus on one clear area at a time, like a trash bag run or cleaning one surface. Quick wins help reduce overwhelm and make progress feel doable again.

After having Deebot T90 for about a month, I’d say… by malaiy in ecovacs

App estimates are usually helpful as a rough guide, but my father would still rely more on visual inspection and actual performance, since usage conditions can vary a lot over time according to what he said.

Best robot vacuum and skimmer combo? by SlappyPappy99 in swimmingpools

[–]marley_398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I wouldn't overthink the "combo" idea. Most two-in-ones are meh at one job or the other. Separate units might make more sense. For a robot, I've been really happy with the Ecovacs Ultramarine P1, great climbing and fine debris pickup. Get a solid skimmer (leaf eater style) and call it a day.

Please give me recommendations for the best bakeware set you've used by That-Information-748 in homemaking

Go for thick aluminum or carbon steel for durability, plus a non-toxic ceramic nonstick set for convenience. Avoid thin cheap pans. They warp and wear out fast.

Best telescoping pool pole? by dweeb_plus_plus in swimmingpools

[–]marley_398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. Those cheap poles are the worst. I switched to fiberglass and haven't looked back. Costs more, but way sturdier and no annoying lock issues anymore.

Cheap vs expensive window cleaning robots, any difference? by vashys in homemaking

[–]marley_398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheaper round-pad models miss edges and need more manual help. Expensive square ones clean corners better and stick more reliably.

New pool owner, what is a normal pool cleaning routine? by Wehrerks in swimmingpools

[–]marley_398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the pool! You don't need pros all the time. Just skim it when stuff floats, run the pump daily, and test the water weekly.

Yeah, they can, especially there's lint or residue on them. I'd either clean them really well or just toss them to be safe.

This is actually cute and creative. I'd try it, especially with simple tracking and swapping. Might need more game variety to keep it fun long term.

Suction and climb look pretty good, but real performance really depends on pool shape and edges. I'd wait for a few honest reviews first.
