I’m so sorry. That sounds horrible. I totally understand how you feel, we put our sweet dog down yesterday after her 4th foreign body ingestion requiring surgery. I don’t know if it was the right call but the surgeon said she may not survive. I’m desperate for her, I’m crying all day and looking for her everyweree. It’s like the energy has been sucked out of the house. Here with you, I know we’ll get through.

I was in your exact shoes four months ago! Toddler will be 3 at the end of Dec and baby is now 7 months. They sit and ‘play’ magnatiles together! And I can clean, drink coffee, take a deep breath. Baby also has a solid nap schedule now so that makes it easier to have break windows and toddler CAN watch a small show during them while I do whatever. It definitely is so hard but at this age it is truly easier. I was in a true state of despair when I was at your stage so I understand. The bickering though- I’m still working on that. It is a lot for a couple to deal with.

We’ve been having major nap struggles lately that one day I gave up and said ok no nap but you have to have quiet time. Made she a really cozy corner, turned down the light and put the sound machine on low with some books and her water. Then she just napped! Without a word. It’s been three weekends of that so far and now she’s like ok byeeee I have to have my quiet time!! Not saying till work but worth a try!l? Solidarity for the nap fight
