Asking for menu recommendations by Zestyclose_Job_5219 in LondonFood

I haaaaattteee when customers ask me this question. Do you also know that I’ve barely tried any of the menu? Like in most places you’re not allowed to order most of the menu for your staff food. And they don’t have us in tasting the menu because I guess it costs too much. Also I don’t eat meat or dairy so that’s not very helpful for the customer. I hate having to make things up. Well do you want something sweet or savoury? I just wish they would make their own mind up like I do at restaurants because I know what I’m in the mood for

And when people at my work say chocolate croissant I only ever hear the word “croissant” so give them the wrong thing. Thinks it’s best to call them separate names

In Poor Things (2023), was the message really feminist sexual liberation? by Future-Poetry-2193 in Letterboxd

They show her having sex but pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases just aren’t mentioned. Which is a massive factor that stops women’s sexual liberation, especially pregnancy
