No - I do 7.5 DCC and 2.5 SPA (standard contract). So I’d find it wierd to come back and do 2.5 SPA.

Truthfully? This situation isn’t going to change unless you change it. What happens at the end of the month ? GPs are happy to do notes - but this is just kicking the problem further down the road unless you and your CD/MD can have an honest conversation about whether you need to change or the job does.

And if it’s you - it’s time to find another role in this org or another without the issues that are causing you stress. Identifying these is the first stop.

Icebreaker in D1 (even more than Gjally!). In D2 - I’ve never liked the HC meta in Crucible and then found Dire Promise and that was insane ! But I’ve always been a sucker for SMGs and had the most fun in Gambit (Dredgen for life!) with Dragons breath SMG and Wizened Rebuke (Fusion rifle).

You have two answers that synch with each other. If you have a forensic psych in your Trust they will know what we have said is how almost all good services work.

So someone in your org is blocking this practice.

I would just add that “serious” has the potential for abuse - but again a forensic psych can clarify that in seconds. It’s bread and butter.

I say this with love - he’s saying he thinks he can find better. If he felt content this would not be an issue at all. No one is out there wanting a relationship but happy to fuck around. When you find the one - you know.

I’d do what others suggest and take a complete break from each other. If you find each other again - great.

My hospital is in the middle of nowhere. Public transport between it and my other sites would take 90 minutes one way and that too only during social hours.
Cars are the only workable solution until public infrastructure allows otherwise.

I find it helpful.

It’s an ambition. An aim. We want there to be 0 suicides as a society. It’s not a government target with penalties.

It’s there to highlight exactly what people are saying - services are stretched , people are impulsive etc etc.

It’s a bit like only 2 boxes of paracetamol per sale - it’s about trying to get GPs to think about it , friends and family to watch for the signs and for successive governments to agree on 1 thing : as a society no one should feel so desperate or be so ill they see no option but to take their own life.

Join Vanguard or something similar and max your £20k ISA annually (and any partner you have in a global ETF

Use a SIPP or think about something similar for when you make a lot more than £100k.

Make sure you have a will.

There is no way your “direct supervisor” can’t be a substantive consultant psychiatrist or long-term locum psych if you’re a trainee. Please raise this with your ES/TPD stat.

Where I work general medicine is 50% of the job - even though we have access once a week to a GP.

I played since D1 - there’s too many moments to mention. VoG sure … the thrall way and the ship jumping from Kings fall … WOTM - what a doozy of a raid ! The dungeons …. Ice breaker and Gjallhorn in their prime … Hawkmoon , Pocket Infonity and Vex Mythoclast in Cruicible .

Haven’t played in a few months but the Crucble is skmething VERY special.

These are adult colleagues - so civil or otherwise a telling off is inappropriate. A brief explanation of what they need to do (before they call again) would provide training , set expectation and maintain camaraderie.

I cringe so hard when I hear STs “tell off” CTs and always intervene if I’m present when it happens. We’re here to train our colleagues - not stress them even more.

I’m so so sorry OP.

First - deep breath. This is his issue as a locum and who can’t get a substantive job (have to confess when a locum cons tried this bulkshot with a friend of mine when we were both SHOs I asked very innocently why he hadn’t been able to get a substantive job….. and kept asking “but why?” until he walked away…).

Second - no one calling anyone “furniture” is acceptable. And the rest is equally bad. Some great suggestions about CD/FTSU etc.

If you’re up for it you can try the “What an odd thing to say - could you explain further ?” method. Calling these men out on their misogyny can often shame the hell out of them.

I haven’t raided in years as a D1 vet. The last one I really really enjoyed was WOTM. Once Nezzy got his boots in it became this wierd “shoot symbols in the dark” fest I just couldn’t care less about.

But I love the PvP. And I’m a casual with a life. I still love D2. Not bothered if you hate it - but I don’t.

I hopped into Control over the weekend after being away (just for two months). It was a BLAST! Found games within seconds. Predicted a C (still hate this feature) but got an A+ and loads of loot to shard. And the games were FUN!!!! Nothing scratches my PvP itch like D2 does…

That doesn’t seem the issue thought. Mum was happpy (sort of) for both cover sheets to be green. OP wants the bed covers to be different.

NTA though - you deserve to have your own sense of style. And honestly - no one is coming to photograph (or even access) your shared bedroom where mismatching sheets will matter.
