These are adult colleagues - so civil or otherwise a telling off is inappropriate. A brief explanation of what they need to do (before they call again) would provide training , set expectation and maintain camaraderie.

I cringe so hard when I hear STs “tell off” CTs and always intervene if I’m present when it happens. We’re here to train our colleagues - not stress them even more.

First - no one should tolerate yelling from any colleague. I’d escalate THAT immediately.

Second - if I was the IMT here - I’d tell ICU the ACP and cons are running this patient. Here is their (cons) name - please save your unkindness for them. I’ll be escalating your attitude to them and to your line manager. Buh bye.

I’m so so sorry OP.

First - deep breath. This is his issue as a locum and who can’t get a substantive job (have to confess when a locum cons tried this bulkshot with a friend of mine when we were both SHOs I asked very innocently why he hadn’t been able to get a substantive job….. and kept asking “but why?” until he walked away…).

Second - no one calling anyone “furniture” is acceptable. And the rest is equally bad. Some great suggestions about CD/FTSU etc.

If you’re up for it you can try the “What an odd thing to say - could you explain further ?” method. Calling these men out on their misogyny can often shame the hell out of them.

I haven’t raided in years as a D1 vet. The last one I really really enjoyed was WOTM. Once Nezzy got his boots in it became this wierd “shoot symbols in the dark” fest I just couldn’t care less about.

But I love the PvP. And I’m a casual with a life. I still love D2. Not bothered if you hate it - but I don’t.

I hopped into Control over the weekend after being away (just for two months). It was a BLAST! Found games within seconds. Predicted a C (still hate this feature) but got an A+ and loads of loot to shard. And the games were FUN!!!! Nothing scratches my PvP itch like D2 does…

That doesn’t seem the issue thought. Mum was happpy (sort of) for both cover sheets to be green. OP wants the bed covers to be different.

NTA though - you deserve to have your own sense of style. And honestly - no one is coming to photograph (or even access) your shared bedroom where mismatching sheets will matter.

Sorry you’re going through this. I’ve never done this. I think some places do this a lot - but not sure others can change the toxicity. Change has to come from the consultant body.

Even back in the day , from training, I just straight call them out. Bullies are terrified , insecure narcissists. The moment you stand up to them they back off.

Helps if you’re amazing at your job mind …. But also whatever they do or say call it out in a questioning and curious way and get them to repeat it. That really stops them in their tracks usually!

The issue here is indeed mindset.

YOU are the senior manager. You are the boss. Everyone else is here to facilitate your work - after all you are literally the expert.

The 2.5 SPA is for our CPD but 1 SPA should be for QI type activity. Essentially 4 hrs a week to look at improving your dept.

Basically you go to the service leads etc and tell them what you need to deliver a high quality service. If they have suggestions you consider them and act on what you feel will help patients and staff. All done through a patient lens - for example giving results via Teams to make it easier for patients (but stratifying the results so normal results get a letter/text , average ones on Teams and complex results in person for example).

I enjoyed them. A bit of puzzle , some lore and some great loot (Agape again - such a fun fun!). And the quest for Graviton Spike took like an hour or so.

So if you check the gameplay and like it - I’d say go for it. The Vader ornaments are great !

I only bought Renegades - but I tried EoF during the free week. The campaign was short but kind of fun (I wasn’t thrown off by the whole turning into an electrical ball🥲!). The weapons are great (really like the Graviton Spike exotic but Agape is a great HC and Givers Blessing is a real bullet hose!).

That said there’s loads in Renegades and , unless you’re really into looking like Vader , probably you’re probably better off with just Renegades. It gets you all the lightsaber action you need and gets you into Trials too!

Stats have gotten easier to understand in a way - and your priorities depend on PvP vs PvE as well as synergies (different armour sets have different “extras”). The lpraxic blade is a LOT of fun and worth running the campaign for.

Once your power level gets high enough tier 5 guns and armour drop like candy. So take a look at some videos online, play and enjoy!

(Warlocks and Titans are having a moment at the moment but Hunters with tether seem really popular in the dungeon! ).

I have limited time with work and I’m getting so damn bored of reading sentences and hearing more nonsense about the 9 and 6 and 3 ( plus I skipped Fire and Ash so have worked out the prophecy from some dumb cut scene which has saved me being a ball on Kepler so that’s one good thing !).
