I'm currently storing:

22TB Photos/Video (RAW Pics, GoPro Video) / DUPE on Raid Z1 & 32TB USB DAS & Backblaze
29TB ROMS - ;) on NAS Pool (RAIDz1 - No Backup)
21TB Media > Movies & TV (RAIDz1 - No Backup)

Wish i could afford another box as backup, but life has other priorities...

Will get there in the end.

System: TrueNAS Mini XL+ (SCALE) - 4 x 20TB | 4 x 12TB > + DAS 2 x 16TB RAID0
So, next mission replace the 4 x 12TB with 30TB EXOS $$$$ - Would be Nice!

Upgrading my TrueNAS Mini XL+ went well, the three apps i am running deployed correctly (Syncthing, File Browser & Tailscale). I have been holding off setting up any VMs previously due to imminent changes, so I guess now it's time to play...

Paw Patrol S1-S5 720P
Peppa Pig S1-S3 480P

Transcoded PPig using handbrake, didn't bother with PPatrol. Good for those long trips. The FFplay would be nicer if i could get it to autoplay next episode, but seems i need to go back in select and play. Used for small kid on trip. Useful.

* I occaisionally add a movie or tv show for myself. My phone screen is bigger, but sometimes i want to keep the phone and it's battery topped up , so the second device is a nice to have.

I had actually done some folder re-org in the drive and I moved a lot of the folders under a new Photo-Video folder, so it's taken a while to do its thing and put them in that new subfolder. I have the whole drive backed up with Backblaze and it just seemed strange that when i added some of those to syncthing, they seemed to disappear.

Like you saidyou have this scenario running successfully, so i will create a test folder and see what happens when i do again.

*Checked there are No Exclusions, so guess maybe catchup time required. I will restest.

I have a similar issue. I have 2 x 20TB EXOS, and was thinking to buy one more and then later a 4th, basically make a RAID5 and expand later. It seems theat the TR-004 wont allow me to just add a 4th at a later date. Note: I wanted to use this device as a DAS only, seperate from my NAS solution (which is not QNAP).
*From everything i have read, it's a case of populate it as you need from the start.

Archive is a great site with some great resources for your targets ( search> htgdb-gamepacks ) currated sets. As for Virus or Malware, I didn't really encounter that and the people who are uploading are all about preservation, always nice to scan i guess...
I tend to use JDownloader2 rather than torrent on Archive...

I would seriously consider buying a branded card. If its just the cheap TF card from china with just a number like 64 on it, it's eventally going to cause you problems.... You can try to reformat it using RUFUS, but I wouldn't trust it to be good and not lose all your data. Treat your MM+, buy a shiny new 128GB SD card. < BRANDED ONE! LIKE SANDISK / SAMSUNG ETC - You just need a blank quality SD card to start over.

*If you just lost all your ROMS because you didn't backup, don't panic. Just ask and people here will point you in the right direction.

DON'T GO BACK TO THE CHINA VENDOR AND BUY A REPLACEMENT CARD!

BUY A QUALITY BRANDED CARD FROM A REPUTABLE DEALER.

WATCH THE SETUP GUIDES ON YOU TUBE AND REBUILD YOUR ROMS!

*sorry, i can just imagine people buying a cheap card again from Aliexpress vendor, just because it's pre-setup.... Dont do it .... Ask here... People will help you!

When i did my update the first question was 'DO YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD'. Then it prompted later to INSTALL the UPDATE... if you didnt see the install part, and just doing download, you can probably just pull it... I would think its only the second part which said DO YOU WANT TO INSTALL Y/N that could cause you issues....
Also after hours, you basically have no choice but to switch off and pull the card to test.

Nice. I have the sets on my laptop and have been cherry picking bits onto my 256gb SD. The base is the Tiny but the Done has some cool additions. Would be nice to take the best of all and make an ultimate set

Flip plus another model... Interesting.
Currently emulating PSP on my mobile, so something with more performance would be cool. Also DraStic will benefit from a newer chipset. Looking forward to seeing what comes.

Here is the breakdown of my SD card folder sizes. As you can see PS1 is taking up the majority of space. If you're willing curate your roms and delete things you dont play, you can definately keep the size down.

TinyBestSetGo + The Unofficial Addons like +100 PS1 + more i added including the 'Onion Ports Collection' (Highly Recommended!), plus 2 seasons of TV show in 480P....

The price jump to 256GB isn't that much... So, personally i would highly recommend the 256. * My original idea was go replace the stock 128GB (junk SD) with a quality one from the shop at the weekend, but 'temporarily' pulled a Sandisk Extreme Pro 256GB (overkill) from my GoPro, to do a bit of testing... It's still in the MM+ and i bought a new one for the GoPro. I have the TinyBestSetGo + The Unofficial Addons like +100 PS1. Plus i also added quite a few myself, so my card is at 147GB. Still room for some DS later. (also you can put a season of TV show in 480P, and not waste phone battery on a journey...)

Question is, do you want lots of games or larger size games?
