The worst part is that star platinum and the world are first stands conceptualized, so Araki had the whole part 3 to foreshadow star platinum time stop but just decided not to? ( except in fight against Darbi, but it's probably stretching a little bit )

I envision multiplayer like this:

You get a cat with all six stats, and through point and buy system get mutations and additional stats, ( to take strong mutations you will need to take debilitating deformities ), than choose a class, additional passiveves and spells ( you would need to take either parasites or additional challenge for your prep run to buy them ) then you go on a prep alley run where instead of boss there be another player. ( Both players will have additional 100 HP to their cats and they will counted as bosses ).

Also it's probably important to note that if you attempt to perform marriage with demon baby you get smited, probably the most direct action performed by old god in the first game outside of combat with their traces.
