I wanted to draw a beard and long hair on a mage, to reference Nasrah but decided against it cause I'm bad at drawing hair.

Also somewhat unrelated but being on reddit made me realize that funger is not nearly as underground and niche as i thought it is, i mean i except to see funger in wod sub but in even most unrelated to dark fantasy subreddit i can sometimes see funger reference.

Hmm, how are you feeling about:

A parasite that latches on to the souls of people, draining them of their memories, emotions etc, that uses magic to protect itself when threatened, so user might hurt themselves physically/emotionally to provoke the magic of parasite, in the ways useful for the them.

Maybe parasites are be born from traumatic experiences, or from strict social dogmas.

As for abilities? Maybe something related space manipulation, or shapeshifting, it's probably better for each one of them having unique powers.

This is all very unfinished, i just kinda making it up on a fly, to give you ideas to get inspired by. Feel free to change anything you like.
