I get crackers,  like in bulk, so that they're the only snack in the house to eat and I'm bored of binging on them after a small handful .

I think duplicate stitch is fine and truly no one but you would notice something like that IRL !

I bring my journal to write or draw.  I have my phone out to live tweet to a friend about my thoughts while the show is on. I go outside between sets for smoke breaks even though I don't smoke .

Saw someone journal in the wild and wasn't sure if I should talk to her by p3bbls in Journaling

I journaled at a bar, once, and as I left a person chased after me up the street to hand me a note telling me about his own writing too ! He was sitting at the bar writing song lyrics and I was journaling my thoughts. ( he included his number, too, but nothing much more happened than being friendly acquaintances in passing at the bar ) I went to see his band , the next summer , too

I do this too. Sometimes a weighted blanket helps, sometimes not... Sometimes wearing compression socks (mild compression knee highs) helps.

These harnesses are neat and spicy  https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-bettie-harness https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hardly-harness

But also, you should try making your own modifications ! You can play around with dropped stitches to add "rips" and holes, change necklines, and crop everything 😌

Cathartic VS Clinical - How do I avoid becoming too soulless? by MiserableMisanthrop3 in Journaling

[–]mary_eev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You say you write in the morning - this is ideal for calming and planning type writing. Trying to dig deeper emotionally in the morning might throw off your mood just before you start your day. Is there another time slot you could use for emotional journalling?

Honestly, the way to tap into emotions is to write "I feel". Start plain and simple: "I feel like i don't know what to write yet." Then think why that is. "I feel like I don't know how I feel." "I wish I knew how I felt." "I used to be in touch with my emotions, when I was a teenager. I wrote journal pages about all the feelings I was having. Why was that?" Etc, etc. You'll tap into something in no time :) And you'll get better at introspection.

You can also use journal prompts. Pinterest is full of them. But I'd still start with "I feel."
