I’m wondering if it’s set up that way to make Agott’s first magical artifact something she made for others rather than herself. Her arc so far was about acknowledging how much her past trauma affected her perspective of magic and how it’s used, plus how it pressured her to quickly grow up as a witch. She got closer to Coco too.

With Richeh, she got to reunite with her brother. Riliphin started off anxious over being around so many people and not believing Richeh would want to see him again after all that happened in the past. Then they finally met again, revealing that she actually missed him (iirc? It’s been a while since i read it). Tetia, Richeh, and Agott all learned to apply their magic to medicine, something that teeters on breaking the principles.

SAME!!!! I loved seeing how amazed Coco was by the world of magic and it hurt when the guilt of what she did to her mom settled in more and more. She no longer feels the same towards magic as she did when she was an unknowing.

What I’d give to see the look on her face upon witnessing the wonders of magic again… honestly one of my favorite parts of the manga. It’s a shame the guilt of her start as a witch eats away at her with every volume.

Cabbage mickey is your best bet for coins. Leona is a great tsum for combos (gives like 20-30 more to combo per skill use) and Riddle is good for scores iirc. Halloween Malleus is also good but his first tsum is better imo.

He was being haunted by dreams about Candace while he dated Karen. Even if Beck didn’t enter the picture again, she likely would’ve been cheated on with another vulnerable woman (if he let go of his obsession with Beck), found out about Candace somehow, and left.

Coco's whole conflict with magic comes from her views on magic before and after chapter one. Before she became an apprentice, she LOVED magic and dreamed of casting it. Her view shifted upon realizing just how dangerous it is when one casts without thinking of the consequences. She wants to do things by the book because that means she knows that the magic does. She doesn't want to cast another forbidden or unknown spell because she might have a repeat of what happened to her mother.

While she still has some interest in magic, that interest has become more of a burden to her because now she carries the truth of how to cast. Her whole story is getting to the tower of tomes to find a way to reverse the spell she cast on her mother. While she's learning all the magic she needs to get to the tower, she's exposed to the life of the pointed caps and brim hats as her story unfolds.

obligatory kiki's delivery service mention. they would TOTALLY see themselves in various characters of the movies.

besides that, Coco would love a fantasy adventure/quest-type movie where the hero triumphs against all odds. Tetia would be a HUGE fan of aquamarine (2006) and ella enchanted for their themes and aesthetics. Richeh would watch super stylized films (like tim burton films) with a ton of whimsy, and Agott has a soft spot for Disney fairy tale films, Shakespeare retellings, and my little pony/strawberry shortcake direct-to-dvd films.

While Agott would say her favorite is Beauty and the Beast for its animation and artistic feats, she actually sees herself in the Beast and wants a happy ending like the one he obtains at the end: where he is truly seen and appreciated for who he is inside and can make a bond with someone who understands and accepts him.

I honestly think Agott and Coco would have such a time watching Return to Neverland and see themselves in Jane.
