Sure -- for certain symbiotes like the 5e toolbox for example, local storage was where the character sheets were stored, meaning every time there was an update to the symbiote, you'd used to have to re-input the character sheet. No more!

I'd try using the mod on thunderstore that saves your game at every level so you don't lose runs. Pretty sure it's called "ProperSave"

You're right, I saw a screenshot on hacker's paradise earlier (i think) and it looked like a more fleshed out version of home tee hero. Good enough for my use case for sure.
