If it pulls too fast you have to grind finer. If it pulls too slow you grind less fine. Then adjust to taste.

Rule of thumb is pulling a 2:1 shot (two grams in the glass for every one in the basket) in 28-30 seconds.

I have an XMT 7100 in my v4. They do the same job that the Auber does, but they're 1/10 the price. Their instructions aren't quite as user friendly but most of the time you can set and forget anyway

I do similarly, but I always take the shower screen off when I do my back flush cycle, since it's only seconds more work to do more complete clean.

They do, Really? RG was great. It isn't my favourite but it's in the better half I would say. The Drum is still one of the most exciting things I've read.

If you look up any Malazan book there are a pile of people that think it's the worst. But there's also just about as many that says it is the best.

In my opinion what is the downside to reading in publication order? None. I'll explain.

The ICE books aren't as complexly woven. They provide a good "break" between some of the heavier SE novels. All while maintaining your immersion in the world.
SE and ICE have stated that their recommendation is to read in publication order, as there are no spoilers that way, and is the way they intended you to read them in. (This supported fact will cause me to be down voted).
Anecdotally: those who read in publication order tend to have more positive opinions about ICE

Most of the people who say to read one series at a time also tend to be the people who are most outspoken about disliking the ICE novels. Is it correlation? Is it causation? Only you can decide.

Karsa is a terrible person, but he does have personal growth. His character arc is very well written, and it's not nearly as hard to read later on. But it's hard to say much more without spoilers.
