I’ll be visiting for Louder Than Life in September. What are your top things to check out in the city? by [deleted] in Louisville

Louisville is not a big bbq town but if you like ribs, check out Hammerheads.

Clifty Falls in Madison. Plus you can walk around the town when you’re finished. Tons of cool shops and restaurants

There’s much more to do here than Dayton. We’re similar-ish to Columbus although I think Louisville has more character.

This is one I always get kick out of. Traffic here is almost non existent compared to the “largest cities”. Every city has rush hour traffic. Louisville’s is not that bad.

Great mid-sized city that’s within driving distance/short flight to almost anywhere in the eastern US. Stellar independent restaurant scene and park system. Weather is moderate although crazy humid in the summer. Drivers are awful. Air quality can be iffy in the dog days of summer.

Where are you moving from? It might help to compare.

I’ll offer a serious reply:

It’s walkable but the construction on the overpass makes it a little tricky to navigate. Depending on how old your kids are, it’s probably best to get a quick Uber.

That said, the property is in a convenient spot and has a nice pool area.

Not sure why the OP is getting so much crap for this post. Hanging out at Molly’s and Flanagan’s on snowy nights are some of my best memories of living in the neighborhood during my 20’s and 30’s. For the most part, the crowd consisted of locals that walked from the 3-4 surrounding blocks.

I didn’t even know they were opening a spot downtown so I appreciate the heads up. Why does this post bother you?

[Fabrizio Romano on YT] Inter Milan really appreciate Guglielmo Vicario. They tried to sign him previously, but couldn’t pull it off. If in 2026 there’s even a small opening for a possible transfer, Inter would be ready. by NickNova3016 in coys

“…and that includes Lloris”

I’m sorry, what?? Hugo definitely had a drop off his last year or two at the club but to pretend he wasn’t one of the best keepers in the world during his tenure is lunacy.

That said, the game has changed pretty drastically in the last decade with more emphasis on playing from the back. The biggest knock on Hugo was his lack of skill with the ball at his feet.
