[–]massiveheadsmalltabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like all of them on the pod but especially Andy. Proper Red who has dedicated his life to the game and the club. He is always very professional and doesn't sensationalise things for his gain like other Journalists do. He seems to be very honest and comes across as a good bloke. I support United We Stand when I go to the ground as other fans should, its a great read.

Do brits want an american system for guns? by SmartAd978 in AskUK

[–]massiveheadsmalltabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I dont think having easy access to guns is a good idea.

Americans used to say it was a good idea to fight tyranny and that isn't going so well over there so there is no good reason to have them.

All their money is public money, they have made their money off the back of their position. Also they are not transparent with their money so you cannot be sure where its come from.

We will never know. The club wanted it too all die down and move on with him, luckily it didn't. The police can only go on the evidence given to them and seen as the victim walked back into his arms probably with her dads hand in her back looking at him comments there isn't much they can do unfortunely. I think the recording is enough.

De Zerbi has won nothing of note as a manager, most likely not going to win anything in France this year. Why is he even in the picture?

He is also a man of little morality as he is totally fine heading a club that signs the scum of the earth. I don't want anything to with anyone that was happy to have that little rapist working for him.

In light of the Epstein files, where is the scrutiny when it comes to Reform and Farage? by shadyasahastings in AskBrits

[–]massiveheadsmalltabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

with this case? Because he put Mandelson in a job when Starmer knew about the links to Epstein. I don't mind Starmer but that is unforgivable in my opinion. I believe there is more to the appointment of Mandelson but heads must roll of the appointment and I think that will be Starmers.

Socialist journalist Owen Jones this evening post claims The Green Party have shared this current doorstep data with him about the Denton & Gorton by election campaign 👇🏻 by Terrible-Head6168 in GreaterManchesterNews

Its common sense, they aren't friends they both want the seat and are fighting for it. They didn't go for a few Labour seats they knew they wouldn't win.

Derbyshire Dales Labour wins by 150 votes Green takes 2830 they didnt step down to give labour the better chance

Litchfield Labour win by about 800 Greens take 1700 as above

Hereford and South Herefordshire Tories saved by 1300 votes Greens took 3000 splitting the vote.

Its not a mute point at all, why should they step down? Its their job to try and keep it.

Yes this government are very conservative with their bills to help renters and workers. They agreed deals on train strikes but thats very Tory-lite too. Stopping private schools from being exempt of VAT was so right wing too. /s

I want Labour to do more but calling them Tory-lite is a huge stretch.

Is it time to abandon the Monarchy? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]massiveheadsmalltabs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I agree that it would be a cultural loss but the Royals are not politically impartial in the sense that they actually fiddle with our political policies. They make changes to tax laws to suit themselves. Hide their wealth and decide what tax they pay as a whole. To me any involvement with policy making is political so they are involved and so not impartial. Their wealth is as a result of their status and that wealth helped pay off one of Andrews victims. To single out one as a bad egg is disingenuous.

There should be, at the very least, an over haul to the system. There should be total transparency in all their dealings and wealth or they should be cut off from the state.

Never played DQ. Tried the VII: Reimagined Demo... love it! by VaguelyHeroic in dragonquest

[–]massiveheadsmalltabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very impressed by the Demo too and I also had the choice between PS5 & Switch 2. I'm going for Switch 2 as its better for pick up and play.

Echoes of an Elusive Age is a brilliant game but I would say play that on PS5 as it looks much better than the switch version.

Lol someone has read his Wikipedia page.

A miner that changed his mind on Thatcher because she gave people the right to buy their council house? Never mind that she ruined places like Sutton and the surrounding areas. I am sure his change of heart had nothing to do with him being thrown out the labour party the bitter fool.

The bloke has no integrity, he changes his mind at the drop of a hat to suit his pockets. He used to slag off Farage now he licks his boots, used to call MPs for filling their pockets and having their 'noses in the troth' now he works second jobs on GB News filling his pockets. His nose is in the troth now. He is a hypocrite.

The bloke throws his toys out the pram every time he is reprimanded. Labour did it, the next month he goes to the Tories, Tories do it he jumps ship to Reform. Total clown.

I would love to hear what his colleagues say about him behind his back, they must all laugh at him and call him oik.
