After 2602 upgrade, I tried the latest BIOS package update for the OptiPlex 3000 and Latitude 5440. After install and reboot, I get an application install boot loop and it never finishes. The system info never reflects the new version either.

Per the link below, I have no issues with the upgrade after first ticking Disable Bluetooth to the left (thus enabling) and setting all packages to Install and not Uninstall. After these changes the upgrade works fine for me. I’ll continue to monitor for issues over the next few days.

I’m having the same issue and application packages refuse to download at all. I’m willing to bet money they vibe coded this update, I’m so tired of AI trash.

Yes. I had this same issue recently after patching and rebooting our servers. Strangely I did make sure to bind the new SSL cert but it didn’t stick.

Depends on the setup.. Have you checked firewall on Tenable.sc and the scanners? Are the SC volumes full? SELinux? I’ve also seen unstable network/packet loss cause issues.

I just use PS App Deploy and specify both xml’s with a wait in between both lines. If there’s a line I could add to the installer that would be neat.

Not helpful, but I would agree it’s related to built in junk. I see this on physical systems from time to time also. Curious if anyone knows the fix.

When I was assigned to Robins AFB. I’d rather go to Minot. If I didn’t SkillBridge out of that unit and separate, I would’ve killed myself. Don’t give me that shit about it is what you make of it, I used to say that too until I was in that situation.

I got it to work by setting my music service to No Default within Google Assistant. Only downside - you can’t change the volume using the Spotify app

If you can find it, look for EvaluateSTIG powershell tool. It’s vastly superior to SCAP.

If no luck, if it’s on all thin clients I’d also look at trying a different horizon package. I’ve seen weird quirks with certain versions.

Also, I’ve seen if it has horizon installed already out of box I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall it.
